With all respect to him, it comes across that he has some stuff to work out on his own so time apart will be very beneficial, whatever they end up deciding.

I think he needs a reality check and I mean this in the most gentle way possible. I don't think they are meant to be (at least at this time in their lives) and I feel he requires some deep self healing. When our words don't match our actions, we can't really be there for anyone. She sounds like her awareness is there but is hesitating out of fear. Some boundaries will help her move on. Both of them.

She's beautiful in every sense and deserves sb who doesn't give off such a scary vibe. Am I the only one seeing that? I'd be very worried for her if they came back together. Maybe he's a good guy but it's his neediness of her that borders with a narcissism for me...😢 And maybe it's his uniqueness/weirdness which lures her towards him. I just wish sb well balanced within themselves for her, sb. stable both mentally and financially she could lean/rely on...and he should find sb for whom he's good enough as he is as this expectation just sets off anxiety in him...
