As someone who was one of those "wtf this isn't Smosh" people. I LOVE new Smosh. It's so much different, but so amazing. Literally all I've been watching for like a week.

It's weird watching this now that Anthony actually IS back and they're basically doing classic Smosh stuff again lol... Ian saying that couldn't happen is so funny, because it actually did.

People complaining about the new people in Smosh and wanted Anthony back, just so you know, these are the people who stayed with Ian during the worst times (when Defy Media left them hanging) and made things work out until they find their new parent company.

I watched smosh from very much the beginning and i loved Ian and Anthony together, but i absolutely do not agree with people who say that smosh is trash now because of all you guys. Those comments are terrible and they clearly dont understand the family you have built. I mentioned this in another comment, that change happens and smosh is not what it used to be, but that does not mean that smosh is any worse. Personally it was Defy that ruined all of it, and now i am so glad you guys stayed together and found a new home at Mythical

While I've already listened to this like 3 times between Spotify and iTunes (in order to help raise it in the ranks), there's just nothing like being able to watch them interact.

God, Olivia is such a supportive friend. I feel like with a friend like that you always feel inspired to do great things. That's one of the qualities I value the most in people.

I'm not going to lie, I have watched quite a lot of Smosh since Anthony has come back and now I feel quite guilty because I realise that these guys have made great content this entire time and I didn't give them a chance, these guys worked so hard to save the business and I'll always have huge respect for this crew now, sorry it didn't happen sooner guys 😬

I've seen this channel transition through the years and I moved away from your channel and unsubscribed around 2015. I think I was bitter to life and it's unprecedented changes. At the beginning of this year I happened to watch a Try Not To Laugh challenge and I laughed so hard and realized Smosh was alive and well. I look at this family, that I firmly believe you alone spearheaded meetings to keep as many people together as possible, and I'm thankful for this channel. You've assembled such a unique pallet of talent, character, personality, and passion. It shows in this new format more than ever. I love the cast and am happy to accept anyone included along the way. Please keep up the hard work. P.S. Rhett and Link deserve to have your brand under their belt because I believe you won't let them down. Clearly they saw that too.

Now I understand Shayne's behaviour on some videos where he seemed sad and annoyed at a lot of stuff. I was shocked by some of these videos because it wasn't like him to be like that.

I accepted the new cast members right when they debuted because I enjoyed the expansion of Smosh.

I started watching smosh about 2009 as a freshman student to improve english and cos i liked comedy. Also those 20-something years were messed and youtube videos filled lots of gaps. Now i am working interpreteter and i really love my job. So thank you! Glad to see Ian afloat and how things work out. Loved this podcast. Keep it up!

40:39 It’s time to rewatch the original SmoshCash and I admit, it did take me a while to warm up to the original Smosh cast and Smosh Games because I grew up watching just Anthony and Ian but while they’re bringing back classic Smosh from now on, I still very much enjoy and love the cast-and/or crew-only sketches or Pit/Games videos. This whole family you guys built from just the original duo to the new members now, I love it all and don’t ever overthink the public’s opinion because I genuinely love the new cast members now and would love nothing more to have Anthony make videos with them

I love Smosh vids now but Anthony's "interview with" videos are great and I'm glad he's doing his own thing, would like to see him on this podcast for an episode though.

I really like this whole podcast thing Smosh has developed, because it helps us get to know the Smosh team as people, beyond their comedy. Watching their funny videos, it's sort of creating a false illusion of them for us, and this helps us understand more about them past all the funniness and facades they put on.

I watched smosh in like middle school, nothing.... after college, totally fell in love with new smosh. Never look back.

But to be perfectly honest, it seems extremely unlikely because Anthony seems to be doing a lot better doing his own thing and for all we know, Ian and Anthony may not even be talking to each other anymore. I never thought of anything bad back when Anthony left. It hurts, but thinking back when how DEFY treated them like sh*t, it was reasonable. I think Anthony said on his explanation that it was either he or Ian would leave. Anyways, I never really minded Anthony leaving. I know it hurts, but it's for the better of his own creative freedom that DEFY kept taking. Sure, Smosh got it back, and it would be natural that it wouldn't be the same as before, but it just shows that Smosh is growing and constantly changing. As we are growing. We grew up with them. I still love modern smosh 💕

I have been watching SMOSH since I found the channel on KZfaq in 2008. WOW! 11 years!! I have watched SMOSH grow with all the new cast being hired, new channels being created, producing 2 movies and a live show, to Anthony leaving, Defy Media screwing SMOSH over and finally being part of the Mythical family! Maybe it has to do with my age, 47 years, that I have been able to handle the changes without getting pissy about it all, especially when Anthony left. I have read many comments over the years, especially after Anthony left, and it was very sad to see the hate. As Ian said, if you have nothing nice to say than keep it to yourself. If you want to leave constructive criticism about the video itself then by all means do, but leave the hate at the door. Remember, you can't grow without changes in your life. If you can't handle the changes then you will lose out on many opportunities and fun things life has in store for you. I'm very happy SMOSH found a new home and looking forward to many more years of entertainment from them! 🧡💛💙💚💜

I've never been into podcasts, even by people I like, but you've got me hooked! The first two episodes have been so fun and relaxed - you all have great chemistry together and the time just flies by.
