The six-part unscripted series recruits small-town residents across America to participate in a one-night-only drag show. In each episode, drag queens Shangela, Eureka, and Bob the Drag Queen and will inspire and teach their own “drag daughters” to step outside their comfort zone for a night of no-holds-barred, full-on drag.

This is where I grew up and my family is still there. I go back often but it's hard to imagine living there and feeling safe being myself and feeling like my spouse would be safe too. Seeing them walk through the town that I have spent so much time in left me in tears.

You all realize the more negative comments you leave, the more it's going to push drag artists to continue doing stuff like this...and that's one of the major points of this show. All you do when you say "cringe" or call it mental illness is add fuel to their fire. All you do is give them more inspiration to keep doing what they're doing, give them more to transgress against because drag is transgression against the norm. I'm excited to see where they go next :)

Couldn’t agree more. For one I don’t know what mental gymnastics someone has to do to convince themselves Drag is mental illness or there’s something wrong with it. What’s mental is how I react seeing a sickening performance by some amazing artist who are way more well rounded then a lot of people who are idealized today. Claps to you. Also I love when people leave negative comments on videos featuring them. First off they won’t read them, so who you talking to. Secondly no one gives a dookie about your opinion unless the agree with you, and third you’re just bumping that video up in the algorithm hun. Wamp wamp. Combo. “thrwoorp”

They set up in the town park for like 3 weeks with their trailers, filmed for a couple of days, and then did the show at the bar outside of town. Then everything went back to normal.
