Things are strange right now. The US dollar is becoming less valuable because of inflation, but it's getting stronger compared to other currencies and things like gold and property. People are turning to the dollar because they think it's safer. I'm worried about my retirement savings of about $420,000 losing value because of high inflation. Where else can we keep our money?

Personally, I would say have a mentor. Not sure where you will get an experience one, but if your knowledge of the market is limited, it seems like a good bet.

This is great information. As a silver bug for decades I believe $30 is nothing. I remember bags of Morgan dollars selling near 3000. About 6 years later 77000. It's going to be incredible

Willem is a fast talker and I used to believe his ‘commodity shares will soon skyrocket’ nonsense. I naively invested almost $30k in his fund a few years ago and I‘m so much down that I’m afraid to look at the monthly statements. 😰 🤮

@@mechannel7046 I’m not suggesting that his fund wont go up, but I’ve been reading these “this time it’s different” and “final inning” narratives for too long. Look at his social media profile: don’t you think it’s strange that he blocks people from commenting on his tweets? Why isn’t the interviewe honest and takes a quick look at the performance of Middelkoop’s fund and asks some hard questions? Instead we only hear softball questions, almost like an infomercial. 🤔

He is interesting to listen to, but I was rather surprised to hear him say that his fund invested in a junior silver miner ETF because it was too much work to figure out individual companies to invest in. So, what exactly is the fee for if not to do that work?
