Love the way of dealing with the AC, just pretend like you don't know what you're doing and pull a line off to vent it... (shhh, it was already emptied & the sound was the vacuum they pulled with the AC machine lol)

You already screwed the pooch on diagnosis for the Bruce Jenner. You should have pulled the obd2 fault codes before removing anything. The obd2 diagnosis plug is that little plug hanging down that was bolted to the knee bolster on the driver side in the cab. See if the Bruce Jenner would work before tearing it all apart building it back into whatever you are going to build. Seems like it would save you double work on the build up of your new toy.
