@@Roblockdn Was just about to comment that they're not Kpop, in Kpop the majority do not write or produce their own songs but BTS/Jimin does for all of their albums. Kpop is also not that strong with meaningful lyrics but BTS do write about so many things e.g. self love, mental health, youth, high expectations from society, loss, love, loneliness, pressure, depression, social injustice and many more which is basically not a common thing to talk about in Kpop. BTS is a genre on its own and are soooo different from Kpop, so we don't like that much when people call BTS Kpop. But it's okay since you guys don't know anything about them yet. Btw Jimin will release his first solo album on March 24, 1pm (kst), hope you guys react to it!! BTS is a 7 member boy group from South Korea known for their lyricism, dance, rap, vocals, stage presence, amazing music and love for their fans called 'ARMY'. There are 4 vocalists and 3 rappers in the group, but all of them can literally do both and they're also amazing dancers, with two members (Jimin & Jhope) being amazing even before BTS being the top student of their dance departments and winning multiple dance competitions!! BTS achieved everything with their hard work, dedication, passion and discipline, nobody helped them and were hated on the whole time because they came from a small agency, nobody believed in them and mistreated the members. They always kept going, enduring everything without complaining. Since their company was small, they didn't have the resources to promote BTS. They turned a struggling company to one of the most profitable companies in Korea and globally. BTS broke into the global market in 2016/17, making Kpop incredibly grow, were the first korean artists for countless of things, they broke records again and again, getting number one hits worldwide, being the most streamed artist on KZfaq and the most streamed group on Spotify. Topping charts all over the world, winning trophies in major American award shows including 'Artist Of The Year' at the AMAs & were nominated for 'Album Of The Year' at the Grammys (they are 5x Grammy nominees btw). Oh and they have now more than 910 physical trophies being the 4th most awarded artists in history after MJ, Beyonce and Taylor Swift. Like all in all, they are the reason why Kpop is popular right now, also so many artists in the industry said that BTS paved the way for them. They have a wide range of genres, I'm sure you guys will find something what you enjoy!! For BTS songs I would recommend you guys: Mic Drop ON (Kinetic Manifesto Film) Black Swan Blood Sweat & Tears Fake Love Danger I Need U Fire Spring Day (is charting even after 6 years of release on korean charts) RUN + Run BTS (these are two different songs, hope you react to the live performance for 'Run BTS' since there is no MV) Boy With Luv Some of their Japanese songs (please do live performance reactions for these): Film Out Stay Gold (there is a MV) Your Eyes Tell Vocal Line songs: The Truth Untold Zero o' Clock House of Cards Rap Line songs: UGH Outro: Tear Ddaeng There are also no MV's for these 6 songs, you guys can watch a color coded lyric video (please avoid 'Jaeguchi') and then react to a live performance. To know more about them as a group and the members, there are amazing introduction videos out there: 'A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7' by Taylor Mari 'The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS (2023 Update)' by Rice Squad 'This is BTS' by xCeleste 'BTS Hardships 2013-2021 | racism, mistreatment, accusations + more | struggles throughout the years' by xCeleste

This is the first reaction I've seen where it was mentioned that it looks like Jimin is levitating. The way he places his arms and legs, the angle of the camera, and the speed at which he is lifted create a visual illusion for a moment. Remember not all kpop songs are on this level. Bcs not all of them produce their own music (lot of them releasing music their producer gave if it sounds good). @@cupcakenfetti i dont care thats a truth. A lot of them releasing song their companies offer (If according to the group it sounds good&cool). There's also a kpop group that just have to receive whatever the company give. That what makes some kpop songs sound average I dont say that kind of groups is bad tho. Some of them have a very good result of the music they've released. But i just think if a group doesn't make their own music, the possibilty of releasing a boring song is bigger. Not all producers is creating something new, some of them just creating the same kind of music they think kpop stans would love these days.

@@aishamirantik5528 Why we should care about kpoppies opinions??? Lmao, they can shut up BTS discography and music production are 1000000x way better than the kpop ones, and this is a FACT!!! Mind you that since Friday 17th, kpoppies were harrasing Jimin and insulting Set Me Free Pt.2, saying that the song is horrible and "everyone hates it", and they were harrasing youtubers, especially producers and composers who said that SMFPT.2 is good, isn't that too way insane??!! Is like a clockwork, they did this with DNA, Mic Drop, Boy With Luv, ON, Life Goes ON, Black Swan, Dynamite, Butter, Permission To Dance, My Universe, Proof album, Yet To Come, Run BTS, More, Arson, Sexy Nukim and Indigo and guess what happened with all those songs??? They were loved by everyone (outside the kpop bubble) and those songs won a lot of awards, the same is gonna happen to SMFPT.2, Like Crazy and FACE, if kpoppies hates a BTS song, its automatically means that this song is good and it gonna be a hit We shouldn't care about chronologically online kpoppies whose jobs are hating on BTS 24/365

what you just witnessed is Jimin from BTS. BTS are known to write their own music their music is based on their lives. they do ALL genres. theyre NOT kpop. kpop isnt a genre the west labels kpop wrong to keep them in a box and have people think its prefabricated/manufactured music when its not at all. there are /some/ groups that are but you cant write them all off that way. and the biggest group in the world aka BTS has always had creative freedom since their start in 2013. theres 7 members (3 rappers and 4 vocalists) jimin is one of the vocalists. bts members have ALWAYS had solo music and the group music but because of their military service which is mandatory for all korean men. all 7 members are taking a break from group music and releasing their first solo albums. before they released solo songs, covers, solo collabs and mixtapes now theyre each dropping full albums. besides jin who released only one song because hes the oldest and had to go to the military he will probably release a full one when he gets out. so far jimin is the 3rd member to release a solo album it drops on march 24th "set me free pt 2" is the pre release single. bts music is almost always deeper they have a few tracks that are not deep but majority is deeper music. theyre not like pop artists or boybands in the west. theres no justin timberlake of the group or no member who gets all the attention they are all equally talented and all have that star power which is why all of their solo releases are huge successes. all 7 members have charted on billboard even as solo artists. please react to more both the group and the members solo music. i suggest reacting to the bangtan 7 by taylor its a guide to bts made last year :)

Thanks for clarifying kpop being something different from BTS. All I knew about kpop was the suicides. After watching the stress those kids go through I can see why. But it never seemed that the kpop artists were powerful enough to go it alone so needed the institution of the industry to make them singers. I was intrigued I guess by the BTS members being successful before coming together. Or at least quite talented. I've been following about 3 months now and Jimin impressed me right off because of his accomplishments at his HS in contemporary dance. I'm more of a fan of his style than the hip-hop or street type. Fun to watch what they do but the group always seems to find Jimin's style curious. So I'm very glad he is breaking free, and Rilke's poetry is powerful help for getting to it! Must have been a trip to have that poem temp tattooed on his body.

Another member of BTS named Suga also has a song called Set Me Free on his solo mixtape called D-2 from 2020. The 2 songs are unrelated but it's a way to differentiate between the songs. Those "tattoos" on his chest were definitely drawn on, it was actually a German poem. You actually see Jimin's real Nevermind tattoo earlier in the music video in the cut out of his shirt, but they covered it up for the shirtless part. All 7 members of BTS have done solo music. Keep in mind BTS has been a group for almost 10 years and they have over 300 songs. Most of the time all 7 members are on the songs, but they have rap line songs with just the 3 rappers and vocal line songs with just the 4 vocalists. Then other times they will have subunit songs with 2-4 members from both the rap line and vocal line.

They are not quiet unrelated. Suga's song is about a bad mental health day for no reason. He wants to be set free from it. Jimin's song is "after". He manages to set himself free of it at the end. Someone said Jimin's song begins with the same note that Yoongi's ends with. The poem is it's original German: Rainer Maria Rilke "Ich lebe mein Leben in wachsenden Kreisen" ("I live my life in widening circles" being the most used translation) You nice! Keep going!

@@ruthfischer7615 true they are related but Jimin himself said it was not truly intentional. It is also interesting to note that the poem is by one of Namjoon's favorite western poets. It is clear that whatever Jimin produced for Face is going to be a deep raw insight into himself he has never really shared before and I am so incredibly proud of him for doing so. Honestly every single solo album thus far has blown me away and just speaks of how multi talented each member is and why BTS is the biggest band in the world. So honored to wear the title of ARMY

They can do it all; rap, sing, dance, write, produce, the list goes on. If you want a dip into their discography, I highly recommend the 2021 Festa Room Live performance. They do a snippet of a song from almost every album in their discography up to that point. They do so many genres and reinvent themselves so often that they're already number one world wide. They're very versatile, they sing/rap and dance at the same time. They write, compose and produce a lot of their songs. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. They've been around for almost 10 years. And no, there's no Part One. Jimin's skills are no joke - he's been a solid artist for 10+ years in the most successful band on the planet today. His choreo here seems to incorporate a mix of some of his greatest performances, some with his BTS bros. For instances, the opening contemporary dance take - which Jimin is trained in, along with hip hop - is reminiscent of "Black Swan" (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ZtKRo6llqbe0e4U.html); his twirls, "Dynamite" (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eMycebF-0cW5h40.html); being lifted, "Lie" (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a8-FiLmh1N_XgYE.html). Jimin's among the best in the biz and is often referred to as the "King of KPop" because of his skills (he also does some mean MJ-like moves + has a unique high tone that is unlike anyone). Then there’s Jimin who breaks free from the mold to dance and move freely however his heart desires.

Jimin is an amazing artist, he has a song called Lie where he talks about his personal demons, he said he wrote that song when he was having a bad time... he's a perfectionist and he was always trying to push himself to be the best, but he was being harsh on himself at the same time. Also, he's one of the bts member with most haters, he received de*th threats, he has being stalked, his mail was stolen, they posted his private info on hate blogs and so much more... so I think this song is about freeing himself of his own demons, but at the same time freeing himself of his haters, he's done with them, he's calling them out and telling them to fck off, he doesn't care about them anymore

Jimin has been subjected to death threats and bullying for years, and the dancers with him in the song represent the haters who were talking about him in the media. The song represents his desire to be free. I think this song is good. Very good .this is not k-pop this is JM-POP😊😊I like it

♦If you are interested, Jimin will appear 2 nights in a row, on The Jimmy Fallon Show. First on March 23,, Jimin will be doing an interview, not sure if he’ll also be performing this song though, even though as a pre-release, it’s out already out. On March 24, the actual day Jimin’s full album “FACE” is released, along with actual main song from album “Still Crazy” MV, he will appear once again, to perform possibly both songs! Jimin, along with the rest of the group BTS, has appeared several times before throughout the years. But Jimin, in particular, has developed a special bond between himself & Jimmy Fallon over the yrs.

#Jimin from BTS. #BTS are living legends, who are known of their charisma and charm aside from their intelligent lyrics, rich music and energetic yet smooth performances. You would be surprised of their concerts. They don't do small concerts. They do stadium concerts and they sold Sofi, Rose Bowl and Wimbley stadium out concerts full house in less tban 90 minutes. Practically, BTS placed South Korea in the world map which their government has recoginzed by giving them the highest merit in the field of pop arts and culture for popularizing their culture and language globally that made BTS as the youngest South Korean recipients of such recognition. BTS has contributed an annual income of not less than USD 4Billion, which is equivalent to 3% of South Koream GDP, from 2018 to 2022 or before their hiatus due to their 18 month mandatory military enlistment. Jimin is one of 7 members of BTS. Jimin one of the 3 youngest BTS msmbers, who are the most protrcted by their fans ARMY. Jimin's role in BTS is that he is the icing of the cake which makes BTS music and performances of a global calibre. He is know of his dancing ang unique melodious voice. Jimin can sing with high notes and wide range like an angel without having to shouting out liud his voice.

LOVE THIS! And if yall knew the symbolisms in the lyrics, music video, set, tattoos, dance and everything! It’s insane. Jimin studied contemporary dance so it is given he likes creative interpretations thru art. He also loves math and some math concepts were applied in it too. I’m not sure if yall noticed but compared to every kpop music video, this one only has one set, no props, no extravagant lighting nor effects. Just dance, lyrics, and Jimin.

Here's info that some still aren't aware of: ❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey! JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals. JIMIN has now won the prestigious titles for 4 yrs in a row, for both KING OF KPOP, as well as also winning BEST TOP #1 DANCER IN KPOP, also 4 yrs in a row!! Jimin is also referred to as "Rookie's Bible" because all rookie idols, try to emulate & study every move he makes, trying to learn from him! Aside from all that Jimin has won other countless award, broken many records. His 7 solos: ‘Lie’, ‘Serendipity’, ‘Filter’, ‘Promise’, ‘Christmas Tree’, including collabs: Jimin's OST ‘With You’, as well as collab w/Taeyang ‘Vibe’, have broken charting records worldwide, as well as being top seller, plus most listened to. Also breaking records for being #1 branding marketing idol, every single month for now, for over 3 yrs, a feat never achieved before, and still ongoing! The term the "Jimin Effect" is now in the Urban Dictionary! So much more as well but will stop here.

Thanks for your reaction! Jimin just freaking killed it and this is just the beginning. He has more dropping this week. There are 3 of the most unique rappers in the world in BTS and 4 out of this world and unique singers. Together with all their talent they are so freaking amazing. They are working on their solo stuff right now before they have to serve in the S Korean Military for like 18 months. Jin the eldest is already serving. They have been together for almost 10 years. The started off from a small label who almost went bankrupt and now have managed to basically singlehandedly grow that small company to the largest in k pop along with the guy that put them together. They write and produce a lot of their work. I hope if you start with the group start with older songs first from their huge and diverse discography. Born Singer live stage mix or Mic Drop MV. Their is rap line only songs Ugh with an explanation video you should watch after and also Ddaeng or Outro Tear. Their are a million great vocal line/group songs. RM and J Hope have released solo albums as well. Jin released a single. They are the biggest group in the world because of their talent, charisma and the love they give to their fans ARMY. Can’t wait to see you react to more.

❣Here is the poem written in German on Jimin’s body translated: Widening Circles Written by Rainer Maria Rilke Germany (1875 - 1926) Timeline Translated and read by Joanna Macy Listen I live my life in widening circles that reach out across the world. I may not complete this last one but I give myself to it. I circle around God, around the primordial tower. BTS is the most versatile band in the world and each member is super talented. Jimin though, Jimin has that special something man. He is a very humble king and would likely say it is due to hard work which it is, but he has that extra something special that only a few in a lifetime are born with. Except for the fact that most people would agree with me, I wanted nothing to do with foreign boy bands until I heard Jimin singing and performing. He pulled me down that rabbit hole so fast my head is still spinning. Now BTS, each member has a special place in my heart and I will never stop cheering for them. Since the release of Set Me Free, I am calling Jimin my falcon, my storm, and my chant. It is the last verse of the poem that is written on his torso. It is crazy I know, but it's true🤗💜🥰😍💜🤩

❣Jimin’s “Set Me Free Pt.2’, it’s everything & more then I could hope for, Jimin’s amazing artistry, his so beyond spectacular,, so mesmerizing, phenomenal performance! The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this makes me that much more excited, waiting in anticipation for release of the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” on March 24, along with his other, main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! I’ve always been so frustrated not being able to see as well as hear Jimin’s full capacity of talent. So often not being fully taken advantage of, but that comes with being part of a group, that has every single member having so much talent that it’s been so limiting for Jimin, especially him being so selfless, making a point of having others shine before himself. Now the spotlight will be just on him! Though we’ve seen Jimin’s amazingly spectacular, so mesmerizingly outstanding solo performances before. But now, as Jimin himself, mentioned, he’ll indeed be showing the depth of his raw inner self! In an interview Jimin explained: "I tried to express the grand scale of the song and [the ideas of] determination, passion, and overcoming. “Set me free” means setting myself free, so I thought it was important that I be the one to set myself free - not someone else. In the end, I’m the one who has to set myself free. I would say the song has the energy of a light in the darkness. I wanted to express that kind of picture everyone has in their head - a ray of light coming into the darkness is the only thing you can see. If I had to say specific colors, I’d say black and white."
