For sixty nine years, I never wore water shoes. Last September, I was stung by a stingray while walking along the water's edge. Now I always wear them and seem to notice all the possibilities of being bitten or cut. Maybe you should consider them for some beaches.

It turns out that the real paradise on earth is in Brazil, Mamma Mia, it's so beautiful there! Your vacation rental is beautiful, it can be said that it is surrounded by forests and close to the beach, it is really great! Kayaking there looks like a lot of fun and leisure! Serene and Beautiful! I lived in Rio De Janeiro years ago, but in the city, and it was very loud. I do have fond memories of going to the famous beaches there, though they were packed with people. Thank you for showing a different part of Rio! So lovely!

When in Rio stick to Bohemia when on a budget its one of the best budget beers around and local to Petropolis (decent tours too), Eisenbahn does some great bear( try the dark one sometime), also have good beers available in Blumenau for their october fest. highly recommended

I've seen pic's of some amazing landscapes up there. The place with the dunes and lagunas.. Lençóis Maranhenses, and some other stunning looking places up there. Also. Oi gente, vai ser dificil escolher um lugar preferido, Brasil é um dos paises mais lindos do mundo, eu já visitei 22 passes com o men marido, tambeín moramos 2 anos em Porto Alegre, e ele vive mais 2 anos in Recife. Temos amigos em varies cidades e amamos Brasil. Mas nao solos brasileiros, somos Uruguaios, moramos en Vancouver, Canada. How beautiful other than what the entire world has seen about Rio de nightlife, the noise, the laughter and music, the famous beach, and the expensive hotels, also the sugarloaf and the famous Christ statue. Now we see a beautiful area of the state of Rio not the city with greenery, beaches but on a river not salt water. Thanks again.

Enjoy your stay in Costa Verde. Lots of beautiful islands and beaches between Rio and Sao Paulo. Don't miss going to Paraty and Trindade!!! Close to Trindade is a beach called Praia do Sonho. You have to walk nearly one hour to reach but it`s worth it. You are right when you say that some places remind you of Thailand. Salads com muito saudade
