Scooby Doo Monsters Unleashed is the 2nd live action scooby dooby doo film written by james gunn in the early 2000's, it stars Shaggy Norville Rogers, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Fred jones and the dog. scooby eats his scooby snacks, and there is an ongoing plot that we follow. It is very funny and comedic and serious and the animation looks amazing. Scooby Doo Mystery Inc.

Mathew Lillard went so hard in these movies playing shaggy. Ever since these movies came out he's become the go to Shaggy VA for most Scooby-Doo things which I think is well earned. Also even Casey Kasem (shaggy's original VA) gave him his blessing in taking the mantle which I think is really cool that even shaggy's og VA believes he's a worthy successor.

Personally I really love Monsters Unleashed. Not every joke aged perfectly, and at times it sort of flip-flops between being aimed at kids vs. aimed at teens/adults, but I always thought the story was pretty good and the actors were perfect for their characters.

The scene where Scooby gets his heroic second wind and goes up against all the villains while the rock rendition of the theme song from the first movie plays is _the_ signature scene of the movie. Literally saves the gang singlehandedly. This movie stands the test of time.

Monsters Unleashed is the best Scooby-Doo movie. Having watched the movie when I was a child I couldn't have known that my life would have taken such a drastic turn after watching it. Because I glimpsed the amazing sight of Scooby-Doo surfboarding on goo my life has improved significantly. I now have a wife and kids I'm rich and I will soon become president of Microsoft. This is all thanks to Scooby-Doo monsters unleashed. Praise be to the dog

@ 6:12 - Sadly, this scene taught me, as a ten year old girl, that a man's weakest spot is their balls. My brother is nine years older than me, so he was just shy of turning nineteen and was grabbing milk from the kitchen when I ran into him just a couple days after watching this movie. My curiosity got the best of me, and I kicked my brother in the balls. Just witnessing a six foot one teenage man crumble before a three foot eleven ten year old girl was the most informative experience of my life. Needless to say, my Dad had a long talk with me as to why I shouldn't go kicking boys in the balls, especially as all my friends were guys at the time.

Fun Fact: In a scene with Shaggy in the car about to go into the abandoned place and he's like "Why can't we investigate a KFC" well apparently there's 2 different versions. The Burger King version and the Burger King version. Either 1 changes a couple lines and the drink Shaggy drinks at the beginning. I only realized this when I was watching this film again on Netflix and found a really small weird pause during the line, and the subtitles said Burger King instead of KFC, so I looked it up

This is easily one of the top five Scooby-Doo movies, not quite number one, but possibly number three. Plus, it's one of the best moments in the franchise as a whole, along with the Blair Witch Parody and the "Night of 100 Frights" video game.

When I first watched those movies as a kid, I loved them. Mathew Lillard is THE Shaggy, and he nailed his role. I will 100% admit the movie isn’t great, nor is it good. The best way to put it, is that it’s bad, but in a good way. Obviously it’s not worthy to get a third movie (fun fact, it was supposed to get a third movie), but it’s a classic to poke fun at, and question what the writers were thinking when they made it. Even though there were a couple more live action Scooby Doo movies after these two, but they weren’t as good. Honestly, I’d give Scooby Doo and Scooby Doo Monsters Unleashed a 6.8/10.

This was my favorite movie as a kid. Mostly because the scene where Shaggy, Scooby, and the two skeleton monsters jumped off the cliff made my dad vomit in his mouth because the motion made him sick.

The scene where the tar monster put his tentacle always made me almost throw up as a kid and I would dread the scene when I rewatched this movie, which I did multiple times, for some reason.
