We needed to get from Australia all the way to Europe for our Christmas holiday...so we caught one of the longest flights in the world - 17.5 hours direct from Perth to London whilst Jess is pregnant.
The Qantas 787-9 Dreamliner is one of the only direct flights that you can take from Australia to Europe. It's amazing that less than 70 years ago it would take 4 days and have 7 stopovers...now we can just do it direct.

Dannnggg. I thought I was so observant hearing the flight attendant saying 'enjoy Finland.' When Jess said we would have to wait in suspense for them to announce where they are going I thought to myself 'ha, I'm in on a secret', and then they replayed the part I heard.

I’m a flight attendant for a US airline and I love the 787 Dreamliner! 😍 my airline has it and it’s beautiful. The longest flight I’ve worked is DFW-NRT it was 13 hours to get to Japan. I would love to be a passenger on such a long flight 😂 lol safe travels!

Love you guys and what you do. I've been invested in your vlogs for about a year now and I've loved every single one. I find them inspiring especially as a 16 year old from Ireland I just can't wait to grow up and do what you do. So for that thank you. Also I wish the best with your baby...... Also when you return to Ireland make sure to visit leitrim ( next to Sligo, where strandhill is)

It's so cool that you're finally visiting Finland, I hope you have an incredible time!😄 I actually didn't hear the flight attendant revealing your destination but I somehow thought it may be Finland as Jess said you're going to have a cold European Christmas. So when I saw the Finnair logo on the plane I got really excited as I absolutely love Finland.😁 I've been to Helsinki twice in summer to visit my sister and it's one of my favourite cities ever.🤩 One day I'd love to travel to Rovaniemi in winter and see the Northern lights.😄 I'm really looking forward to your Helsinki and Lapland vlogs, you're the best!😊 Merry Christmas from Luxemburg! 😄
