If Sim took over Spurs, he would genuinely have it relegated within a season. How could you say you want the best for Spurs but would be happy with players like Solanke? Because he had a good season? It only took him until he’s 28 to get average/mid numbers. I remember Patrick Bamford getting 17 league goals. Should we go in for him? Get your standards together man.

A data team, directors of football, recruitment, connections with agencies, all over the world, yet we land on solanke, give me a break. Zirkze from Bologna is a much better alternative, and will fit Ange’s system.

We spend a lot of money on Richy (that was maybe a mistake), and we will not get that money back. So, the best option is, to keep him, and have him as the back up striker, Richy is perfect for that. He always shows dedication, and he can even play on the wing, which gives us options. We can not do the same mistake with Kane, only having 1 striker always messed up things!

Richy is our version of Werner to Chelshit. Okay but not great, and def not for Ange's ambitions, but he's the people's favourite, so we're reluctant to let him go. Emergoat, Davies, and Hojbjerg are easier to let go of, despite the emotional connection.

People here think Spurs is ManCity or Real Madrid, that everyone wants to come to us...people have to be realistic! Solanke scored many goals with a Team like Bournemouth, so in a Spurs team, he might even do better. If we spend over 100m on a Striker (and he needs to WANT to go to Spurs) then we will not be able to strenghten other positions!

Apparently we are having to make sure we are within the homegrown quota rules when it comes to new signings ! sessegnon was homegrown and is the first out of the club at the end of june. Thats one less already. Solanke would come under the homegrown player title but he is 27 in the next few months. The problem trying to buy players from mid table to lower prem sides is that they tend to overprice them. We scouted eze, grealish,toney, watkins before they went to their present clubs and didnt buy any of them ! how much would they be to buy now ? Solanke at £50m is far too much.

Exactly our priority should be the wings. Sonny against high line teams and Richy or kulu against low block teams is an effective combination. We dont have anyone who can cross or beat a man since perisic got injured

• Early signings are very important but we also have to let go a lot as well. I think important signings at LW, ST, CAM & CDM but I do think LB, LCB & RB could wait a bit. • Cambiaso would be a decent signing but I think he will thrive more at Juve with Motta as manager. • I really like Solanke I always have & I think under Ange system he can improve a lot but for me Sesko is very much more needed. • I don't mind keeping Richarlison but we should send Veliz out on loan & give the guy a lot of minutes in the Championship/Premier League.

Richie is not good enough to make the squad we will need to challenge the top 3 for the PREM. There I said it - too many fans looking at the players through rose tinted glasses - no room for sympathy guys. City have a superb squad with excellent cover for EVERY position for when the injuries hit (and they do) Ange talks about a winning mentality, to get to where we need to go we also need to be RUTHLESS !

The play style we need a target player to allow son and Johnson to get in behind. I did like how we looked with Kulusveski at the 9. However if he can’t stay healthy it makes it hard but he does have creativity he can finish when needed and opened up space for son and Johnson against city and Sheffield

Keep Richy and watch him have a massive 2024-2025 season. Get ivan as well and watch them compete for the spot. Having them both pushing each other is going to be great to see, exciting to see who gets picked and who flys - hopefully they both do. The problem with every plan during the 46 transfer windows that Daniel Levy has directed since he arrived at THFC, is that the plans have been based around his personal plans and choices regarding the vast majority of players that he personally chose to purchase and sell. Until Daniel Levy has been removed from his position of the none owner chairman of THFC, every head coaches personal vision and plans for player recruitment and selling will continue to be scuppered by that undermining, narsasitic, control freak Daniel Levy...

My number one would be Nathan Tella. Burnley were rubbish without him despite brining in solid players. And get a load of what happened to the team he joined... OK so he didn't play much. Hence why I think we can snap him up. Hopefully some of that Leverkusen magic rubs off. But i quite like Josh Sargent. He's not the most composed in front of goal- but he has bags of athleticism. Theres a stat about Norwich this season that shows his value to the team. Its something along the lines of 60 percent plus winning percentage with 60 percent plus losing percentage without. Ben zema on loan ? Guirassy? Boniface? Couple bargains... Kusini Yengi ? Tommy Conway. Id love us to take a stab at Will Smallbone. Get a load of the highlights against West Brom. Looks like an Irish Zidane. Jonathan Rowe definitely. Philogene?

All three of the examples you have mentioned are just shit. Solanke is having a 1 season wonder at like 28. Toney hasnt scored a goal in 12 games and is a dickhead. Sesko is not a proper number 9. I would stay away from Zirkzee, I believe strongly that he's not made for playing in the Prem what so ever. Serie A/Ligue 1-stamp all over him. Richarlison is better. Imho the best you could get that actually is available(IF you pay the price!) is Viktor Gyökeres. I do not believe Isak will be leaving Newcastle and to fend anyone off the price-tag will be over 125M.

@@barringtonwhyte3546 I disagree. Season ticket holder and been to all the games. Richi works really well as a pivot in the front 3, bringing centrebacks out while the 2 10’s go passed. Or he works well with early crosses at pace. He’s a different player to Kane so get over the idea that he’s replacing him. Werner not Johnson is the right character. We need a Werner for the right wing too. Leftfootsevski could be the backup up option for Richi maybe 🤷‍♂️

He does these, and tracks back, and fouls their 6... Everything you want to get a team back into a tough contest. His mindset in a game, isn't even that bad, he's not the liability people make out. Kulu is the great question mark, because he's basically a mirror (left foot) image of Richy... Won't dribble, one footed... But in a similar build, has inferior attributes, holds the ball too long, kills the play often... If kulu could learn to play infield as Richy does, with one touches as a target, they'd be a good strike pair to crack open low blocks in a 4-2-4 shape, and that's something I've been waiting until the man City game for ange to see.. that strike pairs are really good, to open up the channels when player tight 4, 5 at the back... And they can take turns to defend, as Richy likes to track back.

@@joachimschmidt7662 100%. I lived in Brasil for the last 5 years. You cannot underestimate the hardship and sacrifice these Brazilian kids have to go through to make it. It’s brutal on those favela pitches. Richi has the heart of a lion. He offers so much off the ball.

I don't think Solanke is a serious consideration. Just a smokescreen in my opinion. The only reason his name (Toney as well) is being bandied about is because of our homegrown concerns

I prefer Richie to stay over signing overpriced players like Toney, Solanke or Gimenez. Richie looks much better after pelvis surgery. The budget to sign another striker should be 30m less. AZ's Pavlidis scored more than Gimenez. Hoffenhiem's Beier scored 17 goals. Relegrated Sassuolo's star player Berardi. Any of them are < than 30m. Plus we have Scarlett, Deki. I would only sell Richie if there is concern over his injury.

There's more to Richardson than goals and assists. A strong pre-season will see him take his game to another level. His work off the ball I believe is underated and that's the area where he could do his best work for Spurs and grow his game to next level . With a solid and strong pre-season with no injuries...😉 Richardsons pressure and positioning when Tottenham press or when defending in their own half will be a great weapon to have. To turn defence into offence rolling forward will be great to see. C'mon you Spurs

Richarlison should stay. Post surgery he came good. Spurs really missed his aerial threat too. Seems like only Romero was dangerous on corners when Richi was out.
