Hey Dante. After numerous attempts at activating BP and ECG functions on my Samsung Watch Pro 5 using other KZfaq videos, I came across your video and finally got it done! Many thanks for developing this tool to enable these functions on my Watch 5 Pro. Unlike other videos that involved downloading dubious apps, etc, your video instructions were clear and concise and all necessary downloads were linked and actually worked! Again, thanks for providing and maintaining this service!

Fantastic apps and an elaborate, easy to follow tutorial. Good job, mate. Never fumbled through any of the steps and got the tiles enabled within 15-20 minutes (I did pause and rewind here and there).

Can't thank you enough for this tutorial, and quite frankly I accidentally stumbled upon this video. Wouldn't have known that I can measure ECG and blood pressure with my GW6 Classic, since they're region locked features... Thanks again, works flawlessly!

WOW thank you for doing this for us. It works a charm if you follow the instructions to the letter. The only slight issue that I had was at wireless debug connection time as I made a note of the com port, but it changed it at pairing time. Be very careful about the port diplayed on the watch just below the connection code. Apart from this, absolutely fab.

Fantastic job. So frustrating that Samsung prevents access to important health features if one doesn't have a genuine Samsung cell phone. Your work proves their insistence on having a Samsung phone is not a hardware requirement at all. Keep up the great work!

Massive thanks for creating this video, and specifically reiterating that a person may need to restart their devices in order for a successful WiFi Debugging Pairing. I couldn't for the life of me get it to work, so I looked up this video, and when you mentioned restarting them, I did just that-and the two paired just fine immediately afterward! I'm going to look into how much a standard BP cuff and stethoscope cost. Might get my own set, or may just rely on the doctor's office for calibration. We'll see. Thank you again! (And damn Samsung for restricting a potentially life-saving feature to those who buy their phones! That was really a d-bag move on their part.)

I got the galaxy watch 6 working on the Oneplus 8t. Followed the written instructions without hiccups. I bought the watch without realising it was missing the feature. I was sceptical to do this but it worked well. Thanks!

Thanks Dante. My friend just had two strokes. He bought the Samsung watch not knowing that it would not give him the atrial fibrillation alerts that he desperately needed. I set this up on his phone and works perfectly. Great job 😊

Please do make sure the IHRN is running from time to time, because Samsung introduced it recently, it's not fully stable and gets killed/suspended, when that happens, he needs to turn it off and on again... May he never ever get stroke...

@@XDA-Dante63 HI Dante thanks for the advice. So to do that on the watch I just need to make sure the Samsung health monitor app (modded version) is running? Since the IHRN is part of that app?

@@DuskSlayerYT on the phone, ecg tab, you'll see IHRN last updated, if the date is old, the watch most likely stopped checking, so toggling off and on will make the watch start measurements again, I haven't checked the new version of shm mod for the watch, but I'm hoping they fixed it... And I should work on it this coming weekend if my health allows it, had a small setback...

Thank you, again. Things have changed since I did this on a prior phone so this video was essential. I needed to pause and rewind a lot but I got it done on my tracfone Samsung A53 phone. Skipped the hotspot stuff because I don't have one--worked fine on home wifi. Sent you a few coffees in appreciation!

Found this great tool and this great guide - it took me just 20 minutes to fix the "unsupported" blood pressure on my pixel8 :) One thing I struggled with for a minute during the process: I had to turn off bluetooth before starting the wireless debugging, because while bluetooth is connected, the watch would turn of wlan...

Thanks for this video and the detailed instructions. I installed your app on my phone and read through the detailed guide there as well. That was especially helpful as I could go back to it over and over again rather than rewinding the video. I could not get the phone to connect to the watch after several tries but then saw a tip somewhere else and turned off Bluetooth and that seemed to help. Mind you, I'm living with quadriplegia so I'm not very fast or accurate on entering port numbers etc. I now have blood pressure and ECG working on Motorola razr+ 2023 and Galaxy pro 5 in canada. 🇨🇦

You can use network discovery next time, you just need to enter pairing code, the rest the app will handle, and you just keep watch screen on...

Works on android 14 GS23Ultra 12/09/2023, Follow instructions (pretty easy) delete old versions of Samsung monitor from watch and phone as not to be confused. Also Fully scanned the apps and downloads in a secure sandbox and all is Safe and sound. Thanks so Much for the rott free MOD. love it

Hi Dante, I want to let you know that you are my hero for doing this for us. I just followed your shm mod youtube video on my galaxy 6 classic. I have now got both bp and ecg. Just one problem. I charged my watch to 100%, wore and went off to sleep. Within 1.5 hours the battery drained to 0 and the buzz woke me. I have again charged to 100%. Let's see what happens.

Rest assured, shm mod has nothing to do with the drain, make sure your adb and wireless debugging both are off

Because i have heart rythm issues i got suggested to buy a capable wearable However i did not know the features are locked for non Samsung phones I hope i can get it to work with the 5 pro (got i used for cheap but still..) Thank you in advance for that tutorial,will report back :)

Hi Dante, I loved the work you've done, it's impressively clear ! But I also have a big question : you seem to use a Galaxy Tab with Dex in the video, and it seems to connect to your watch. I've tried every possible way I could think of to connect my GW6 to my tablet (since I have an iPhone) and I just can't find a way to synchronize my watch to my tab, how did you do it ? Would you do a tutorial to connect a galaxy watch to a samsung tablet ? Thanks again for all the work you've done, you make the world a better place

I already mentioned in the video description, Samsung Dex and my phone screen, not a tablet... Tablet can never connect to watch, it is hard-coded condition by samsung to accept only mobile devices...

You'll need the companion for updates and future sideloading, it doesn't drain battery, but you can uninstall it, and check for updates manually by checking XDA or Telegram
