I sorry if this had been addressed before but the apk install gets blocked by app protection. I cant disable it in the playstore. How best to install these APKs? Thanks

@@arnaudvanrietschoten5109 playstore didn't block anything on mine but it's possible work profile or policy do that, there is no workaround because those policies allow only Google signed apps to exist and any other apps are removed or denied from being installed

@@XDA-Dante63 It stays on the "Port is found" screen. The IP screen does not appear. I had started the phone clock before, but my watch was reset and now it won't connect.

@@enverpasha2849 ok, I misunderstood your question, I thought you're having issues with galaxy wearable, but your issue is with wireless debugging... 1. Never switch apps when you start any operations... 2. Either watch and phone are on same Wi-Fi or watch is connected to phone hotspot... 3. Don't forget to change the default IP address, I recommend port scanning, and to pair if you don't remember whether you paired or not,, once the process starts, the phone will handle pairing and connecting automatically...

Hey Dantes, I have a Galaxy Watch 4, the app pairs with the watch but the app screen is stuck in "Please be patient, Port Scan" and it loops to no end, do you perhaps have a fix for this? I ahve tried both over Hotspot and Wifi, and Restarted both the watch and hte phone, and Revocked debugging authorization to no vail . 😢

@@SkilledTrash99 don't switch apps when you start any process as it will break the connection... The next thing is, make sure you have set the IP, so the app can identify which port is open, if you did not put the IP, then port scan will scan 20k ports and report no connection found...

@@jjbgoodoflungbarrow simply long press and uninstall like any app you install on your phone... But I'm sure you'll be back to mod since sleep apnea has rolled out in beta ui6, and I'm patching it, sleep apnea is region locked...

hey there 👋 hope you see this. I recently got a moto x40, I'm happy with it except no matter what I do I can't get my galaxy watch 4 to work with it. Tried: - global version of wear OS - Chinese version of wear OS - Galaxy wear - Samsung health (these last two both with and without the watch 4 plugin and samsung accessories) There's a thread regarding this on xda, but as far as I could see no one was able to get it to work without flashing the european firmware on the phone, which is kind of the nuclear option for other issues it causes. Any Ideas regarding how it could be made to work? edit: there was no mention of Geminiman wear OS manager on that thread

I need more details as I am not sure what you mean by the watch, I have everything installed on android 10 & 14... The only thing I can think of is installing watch shm mod on your phone and that would give you parse error, because watch app is not installable on the phone...

You have 2 options, uninstall and install shm mod again, or on your watch, open settings, apps,find shm mod, clear data then open permissions and grant it all... Samsung health monitor permission check was poorly implemented, the crashing on mod happens to stock shm as welland the issue is with permissions...

Updates have no impact on shm mod, so you can follow the guide of installing shm mod on your watch6 using the companion...

@@wayne3003 the only thing you don't need is stock SHM since that has restrictions... You will install Samsung Health and other apps normally, you will use the companion to install the shm mod on your phone and on your watch, and the companion will always check for updates, in addition installing companion on the watch and granting it install permission will rid you of doing adb install for any watch shm mod updates, you can install updates directly from your watch using watch companion...

Samsung Health Beta is much easier, there is a section for Medications in setfeatures and you can select one of the 3 regions (IN, US, KR), select US and it will work, i don't know about the watch side, i don't have the watch samsung health beta...

LTE locked cannot be unlocked unfortunately (like Verizon or T-Mobile, etc) just like the phones... You have to root it to change CSC or use a system exploit and neither are avaliable for the watch as far as I know...

@@FelixCuceanu apkmirror is safe to use, and I only flagged one Samsung Health as unsafe and requested takedown (some responded and some ignored and kept hosting), apkmirror only includes beta which can be obtained from galaxy store beta program, and I even validate some of them... Beta are meant to test things and anonymously send reports... If you don't want that, and want something stable, stick to what is pushed through playstore/galaxy store/OS updates...
