In this video, I am weaving a simple sheath for a sloyd knife which is used for spoon carving and other carvings from wood. It is an easy project that I recommend for all skill levels.
A knife always needs to be sheathed whenever not in use. It protects the knife from damage and also protects you from the knife.
For decoration and contrast, the main strip of birch bark has been painted with milk paint.
