This is probably too late as an answer for you, but for anyone else who has the same question, I loooove using my countermarch loom. It is a joy to weave at; light and responsive and I love it. My jack loom allows more spontaneity with tie-ups and treadling, especially because at a 4-shaft jack loom I can do a direct tie-up and use both feet to raise any combination of shafts I want. Each loom has its advantages. I love my 22" Harrisville designs 4 shaft, 4 treadle loom just as much as my countermarch. I think either jack or countermarch would be a wonderful choice, depending on what your priorities are :)

Sorry this response is so late. I forget to check! For anyone who may be curious, I meant that while I threaded the loom for a pattern, my use of weft and treadling patterns are done spontaneously to create unusual cloth :)

I don't usually sell my weaving. It's a labor of love ;) My friends and family know if they get a woven piece from me as a gift, it is something "priceless" haha :D I'm pipyr on IG!
