Thanks lads. Agree with kieron that the players should have to achieve that kind of salary 160k PW for such a young lad here first at Man United. Let's hope he's the real deal and united get a good price (for once). But move on if they fail to lower that reported price significantly

With Branwaithe, Evan’s added to Martinez, Macguire, Kambwala, there should be no need to get a second centre half. McTominay can always play there. United should look into reinforcements in the midfield and forward areas as Casimero, Eriksen, Martial, Sancho, Greenwood, Donny Van Der Beek, and maybe Antony should be on their way out. Also a left back is needed.😊

I hope for a positive outcome on the Jarrad Braithwaite transfer, MUFC "tax" or not, he is a top player and will represent us in England formations in the future, without a doubt. On the stadium, Sir Jim's comments on "Wembley of the North" suggest a new stadium of larger capacity in the vicinity of OT .To be hopefully , also named Old Trafford. The existing stadium, with modernization, could be the home of the women's team , the under21's, under 18's etc and be a future site of the main training facility with the current training facility, being sold. Most teams would welcome a home base at one location with main stadia, practice facilities and support services for all the academy teams. Makes sense to me. Spot on Tony the united tax will be applied as always. In todays market im hoping we can get him for £50m up front with add ons. We really need to be pushing hard to sell the deadwood first though. Get in whatever we can for the players they want rid of. It will all go towards the transfer pot.

40 mill with (up to) 10 in *POTENTIA*L add-ons for young Branflakes Really do require/need defensive and midfield reinforcements plus another centre-forward with a quality right-sided winger/forward too ideally, 5 or 6 quality players that can slot in/build around the handful of quality we have. Agreed on not going crazy on wages, the Woodwood era pissed heck only knows how many millions away on players' transfer fees but equally crazy wages + contract extensions that we're often just bizarre/baffling on many who either weren't up to snuff or didn't want to even play for us/didn't have the passion/desire/hunger. That sounds reasonable, any higher is just typical getting the old pants pulled down again, don't need to be done like that with a robust and multi-pronged recruitment setup established. Indeed I know there are no quick or painless fixes, we must have patience obviously, I truly believe keeping EtH is the right move as he needs to work in conjunction with serious behind-the-scenes football people rather than Glazer-appointed idiots not fit for purpose, so far INEOS have been true to their word, hopefully, that always remains that way. Like last summer Chelsea said they wanted 70 mil for Mount. Everton are doing exactly the same. Like Chelsea they will let him go for 50-60 but it's United so can ypu blame them? A good deal would be 45 similar to Martinez.

I like the idea of signing this kid as comp to Martinez but not for anything like 70m. Could pretty much buy 2 CBs of the same quality (which we we need) for the same price if we’re sensible: Todibo, Anselmino or Inacio, Anselmio, or whatever you want. I don’t know, I’m not an expert on the kid at all: only saw 5-6 Everton games last season, but he really didn’t stand out to me in any of them. I actually just remember him making errors tbh. Again, I’m sure he’s better than my limited perception, but I’m just not convinced, not for more than 45m and as a prospect. Did like the Zubimendi rumours earlier, mind… I can get behind that as an alternative to Neves.

150 grand for Branthwaite is fare in my opinion. He’ll be a united player for the next 10 years and would max earn 180-200 if increased. Garnacho is on 50k so offering Branthwaite 80 would not make sense. I can see our wage structure massively cutting down over the next few windows leaving Rashford mount and Bruno the only players on high wages
