Felt like an idiot, but also felt like it needed to be pointed out for others to hopefully not make the same mistake. 😂

Thank you for the video! You aren't the only one that has messed up that part! Because of videos like this and you deciding to share it, you help people like me who will be putting together a grill for the first time EVER! lol Mine will be here on Saturday! Can't wait!

Simply Adia haha, thanks. I figured that was possibly the most important or helpful thing in this video, so I couldn't take it out. Good luck on the new grill!

I just put one together this week. It's like anything else. After you've done one, you are ready then. Bring on the next one and I'll do it in third of the time. But, that's it. No more to put together. lol Funny how assembling stuff is. Sometimes a part won't fit, then hold your mouth different and whamo. goes right in. Glad you got it.

Haha. Yup. I tell ya. Between being brand new (at the time) at shooting videos for youtube, focusing on the angles, the view, the lighting, trying not to sound like a total moron, and trying to put together a grill...my mind was only about 20% on the grill. Yeah, if I had more to put together, I wouldn't have even needed the instructions. Maybe that's what I should have done...taken it back apart and re-shot the video once I knew what I was doing. lol. Thanks for stopping by. -Brandon

I put my Master Touch together just last night and I have one comment id like to make. Now,,, I know this is only a $200 grill. It's not a terribly cheap Charcoal Grill, but it's not exactly out of reach for those with even a fairly modest income either. The one thing I struggled with on this grill at it's $200 price point however were the legs. Look, I am certain that the legs are aqueduct to the task. But is there a single person out there that has ever bought one of these that didn't immediately think, "I wish these legs were just a bit more heavy duty". From side to side, the kettle twists and feels,,,,,, frankly it feels a bit flimsy. The kettle itself and the grates are pretty dang heavy duty for the application. Then you pick up the legs and its like hot damn, they packed the wrong ones! I don't know, it's not a question of rather or not I think the legs will hold up. It's not like you are standing on top of the grill after all, and nobody is doing the twist with it either. I personally just wish that the legs were a bit better match to the quality of the Kettle itself. The legs are super light duty, and they don't attach to the kettle in the greatest way either. Functionally, it's probably an absolute non issue. But a little more heavy duty aluminum leg, and a little better connection to the kettle, would have gone a long way towards making this a truly exceptional Grill.

Stan Juan I totally agree with the legs thing. But, until I can figure out a way to mod it, this is what I'm stuck with. Lol
@stanjuan1178

B'S BBQ speaking of mods, it would probably be a straight forward task to create new legs using a bit heavier walled aluminum tubing. The problem as I see it would be the connection points to the kettle. The sockets themselves are heavy enough gauge metal, but they are just spot welded to the kettle. And the kettle itself is plenty heavy duty for grilling, but the area where the leg sockets are attached could stand to be beefed up, like by maybe adding a double thickness of metal there. But such a mod, though not impossible, is by no means straightforward. That would be a seriously advanced bit of work that given the effort it would require to make look right, the returns functionally would be questionable. There are a few other ideas in my head that may also work that would be less effort, but that's not saying a lot given they all include welding. Ultimately, unless someone has time on there hands to kill and a serious love of complicated mods, the legs are probably best just left alone. But that's my thoughts on it in case any gives a shit.

Good vid on the assembly Brandon. I'm fix'in to pick up the same Weber Kettle tomorrow at HD and looking forward to cooking on it. No worries about your assembly error, "Cooking with Ry" made the exact same mistake fastening the legs, too funny. Anyway, check out his channel as well. I subscribed to you and def a BBQ fan. Happy grilling and smoking!

Thanks. Yeah, it is a very easy mistake to make (not excusing it, of course) if you're trying to do 10 things at once. haha. I recently started vlogging, however, more BBQ videos and some BBQ vlogs to come. Thanks for the sub.

This doesn't look like the Master Touch, it looks like the Original Pro. You aren't the first one that's put the handle on wrong. I just came from another video that did the same thing! Luckily you all have put that on here to show everyone in the future what not to do... thanks :)

2steps69 they had some quality issues with those. Mainly paint not getting in all the areas as well as some very minor things (nothing functionally wrong, just visually). So they are being sold at a discount. Still a great cooker.
