Here, you can research the laws, statutes, and resolutions that may have affected your ancestors. You might even be lucky enough to find documentation of family relationships, birth dates and places, or even a death date and cause. There are mysteries waiting to be solved in the Statutes at Large found at A Century of Lawmaking.

Thanks for sharing this. Many times I have had to go page by page looking for information so as frustrating as it can be at times, I have found that it’s usually worth it in the end. I have become used to it and the patience can be very rewarding. Thanks again
