Can I just say, this is by far the best coaching i've seen so far on youtube! Most people will show their method but not really explain it to the level you have. Ill be watching all of your videos sir and thank you!

Footwork is one thing I have been struggling with in my game, and after watching this, I understand what the feet are supposed to do. Thank you.

Thank you for this video. For the longest time, I was doing the wrong thing and scratching my head why my ball speed is always so slow - even if I use upper body to push it faster. This just gave me guidance on what I should work on next to up my game.

I've bowled 6 times and love it. Just got a pair of excellent shoes. No ball yet. Lots of good tips here. I'm going to work on that rhythm.

I'm appreciating this 5 step approach video. I'm always off balance at the foul line with my 5step (righty) and this will help.

The step that feels the weirdest is the third one. I guess my thinking I have to make it long without being in my head that’s where it feels odd. I’m not sure how to get over this odd feeling other than to just continue doing it and continue watching as it looks good here but it feels odd when I try it

Do you have a sound recording that people can play through wireless earbuds on repeat to get the rhythm down

These steps works great if you are bowling straight up, but what if you are playing deep inside and have to square up to your target and throw the ball at more of an angle?

Any advice for a three step approach? I find that the 4 and 5 step approaches are too long for my swing.

I prefer teaching a 4 step approach because the 1 extra short step in the beginning tends to throw kids off. 4 steps is a much easier rhythm to get into. I prefer to teach 4 step and then teach 5 step to increase momentum if they want it.

This is helpful and all but look at EJ Tacket or Tommy Jones with fast feet. And for me as a two hander belmos feet are faster than this rhythm. And I tried it at home and it was way to slow. Then I tried the rhythm one handed and it was perfectly fine. 2 handlers carry more momentum into the swing and have to go faster

I don't understand how this helps. Why the crossover of the right foot? The ball is still falling solidly up against the right leg on step 2. Your right leg is still in the way. You'd have to drop the ball a lot sooner to get it past your right leg before you take step 2.

This seems to lack fluidity. I'm guessing you sacrifice that to preload your body at the apex of the back swing?

That's right. Using two different colored shoes would make for a much visually understandable demonstration.
