Great job! 6 pounds in 4 weeks at our age is a victory. I just started the book and I like how she presents the information so far.

Slow and steady is better than losing a lot of weight at once. Slow and steady is substantial!! Plus you may have picked up a little muscle mass which is good. Great work!!!

I’m 41 and just bought the book. I’m at a loss for what to eat. I do have the recipes but would Love to have more recipes.

I'm SO excited for you - your progress is AMAZING!!!🤩🤩 I know it's harder for women who are already small to see much progress in a month. But I can see a HUGE difference. Go Cathy! 🎉 This is a great achievement and I celebrate with you. Just happened upon this video tonight and was totally interested to see your results. After trying the principles of TGD for relatively a month, I can say I feel a lot better and notice I've slimmed down also! 😊

That is awesome! Keep up the great work. What a difference❤️ You are setting up habits that can last a lifetime. I exercise a lot, but walking every day makes such a difference in my body. Get some earbuds and listen to music or podcasts. Excited to see your meals and snacks. I have not read the book yet, but want to soon. Excited to see the rest of your journey!

Thanks. Last summer I walked HARD 4 miles a day while doing Keto and saw NO CHANGE. It was frustrating. I'm really excited that this plan seems to be working for me! I love getting outside to exercise!

I just bought the book. I have a considerable amount of weight to lose. But in your before and after you look like you lost much more than 6 lbs!! This gives me hope!

Aww.. thanks. I think this before and after is 9 lbs, because I lost 3 in my ramp-up (not part of the book). Good luck on your journey!

Congratulations, I’m thinking about seeing a specialist for menopause in my area. I retired two and a half hrs ago and been caring for my parents and put back all the weight I lost. I’m a emotional eater. Dad passed since then and caring for my mom. It’s hard to lose the weight for my at my age of 66.

What a nice compliment! I'm still on the journey... lots of hiccups along the way, but I love NOT BEING HUNGRY all the time, even with fasting! Good luck!

@@MyGalvestonDietJourney Thank you! I did follow Dr Jason Fung's fasting plans for quite some time (I do LOVE fasting) but with a divorce and some other issues I fell off of the wagon and it's time to get back on. I am 51 and not getting any younger. Thank you for the encouragement...we got this!!

Dr. Haver puts some of her patients on HRT, but Nutrition is #1... so I really think they work well together, but I don't have any personal experience with HRT.
