@@LifeisA_Dream It's funny you say that; I've always thought of Trump as President of the wrestling dimension. Like, he always holds these half-empty rallies in some hockey arena in Chucklefuck, South Dakota and says these paper-thin lies or half-baked plans that sound like they were written by someone that had to make airtime in 2 hours for a cheap pop from the crowd. I honestly wouldn't even have been surprised if X-Pac came out at one and challenged him to a tables match to some shitty butt-rock, there's just an air of tackiness to his whole term. Here's hoping the next season has better writers. 🙏

I've been watching Che on Weekend Update for a long time. To me has he always sounded the way he did tonight. I think that's just the way he delivers his lines. And I am a bit of an expert when it comes to drunks. I've been more drunks than most bartenders. Including, but not limited to, fun drunks, sad drunks, mean drunks (my brother won the title Florida's Meanest Drunk three years in a row and was runner up in our Trying His Best to Start A Fight Category this year. He came in last place this year in the The Drunk You'd Like To Hang Out With Competition.

It was Guy Fawkes on the 5th and as happens every single year, Fireworks are let off days before and days after the 5th itself.

That’s pretty common among older black men. My grandfather always wore clip on ties wasn’t until I was older I found out why. His uncle was hanged when my grandad was younger and until his death he remembered the burns the rope made around his uncles neck. And anything tight around his neck gave him anxiety

Trump was afraid to go outside during his state visit there a couple of years ago, and I still have a copy of the iconic, magnificent Trump-baby balloon that was flown. It's understandable that people would have believed that the fireworks were in celebration of Trump's defeat/Biden's win. But they were not. A false story is a false story; my hatred of Trump still doesn't make me want to lie. Lying is too much like him! Government shooting fireworks to celebrate another country's election results really would be not appropriate, and we should have been less self-involved and realised that.

Normally I'm annoyed when people break character too often. This time I like it because this was our first moment to truly let our hair down and have fun again in four years. Props to Che for being drunk and having fun with himself, he is just doing what we are all doing right now. And the reference to Shawshank Redemption is perfect for the situation we are in right now. Things are bad but just for a moment we get to feel like people again and try and enjoy ourselves just for that moment.

On Election Day @ midnight I actually woke up w/ a headache. I had to start a new job that day which involved taking buses for 2 hrs just to get to it then 2 hrs back. Have done this for 4 days straight. Between that & the election I barely got any sleep. Come home on Friday & take some prescription meds to help me sleep for a long time (12 hours), then I wake up to very good news. I still needed 11 hours of sleep last night. I know the feeling, believe me.
