To be fair saying “Goodnight” is the same as saying “Good morning”. It’s just at a different time of day. The only confusion is because since it’s the last one you would say, people take it as meaning “goodbye”. But much like “Aloha”, it can mean either hello or goodbye.

Are you a native English speaker? In most dialects (American, at least), "Good evening" means hello and "Goodnight" means goodbye. I have no idea why, just one of those things. Logically it ought to be as you say, but conventionally it just isn't.

It’s incredibly difficult to write sharp topical jokes that will be relevant and funny for a live broadcast on a Saturday night, week after week. Certain aspects of the show’s format - including the double musical performances - exist to help fill time.

What would be really brave is focusing on his health and see if he can completely recover before trying to serve millions of other people. Strokes and recovery are very tricky, and different for everyone. Often 3-6 months after a stroke you’ve reached max recovery as well.

I met Fetterman when I was selling gyros in Braddock at a fair and a drunk driver crashed and the entire police force showed up and the man came down just to see what was happening. Fetterman is a real one. Oz is all smoke and mirrors.

Computer programs everywhere have been trying to eliminate apostrophes from people’s names. Whether it’s my bank, a school, marathon registration, hotel reservations, etc, there’s always a problem with my name. He countered every point, avoided a couple of questions like any politician does (which sucks but it's par for the course), and remembered all of his canned lines. Not sure how any of that is bad.

I think this is because his policies are transformative and are offering necessary change to broken parts of the system, and news commentators don't want that.
