Visiting the Philadelphia area recently (June 2022), my wife and I made a road trip out to New Hope, as a sort of Ween Haj. It was so lovely and enlightening. We wandered the town, drove out to the horse farm (the Pod), and hung out at Buckingham Green! What a trip. We're both 10 years older than Gene and Dean, fans since the release of "Pure Guava," and we saw them open for Foo Fighters back when they were still a duet with the DAT setup, as well as when they toured with the Nashville ensemble (at the Fillmore in San Francisco ... OMG, that version of "Fluffy" was mind-blowing!). So we have long loved those boys. But our love for them has only increased with age, and for their band -- what a great band. In the past couple of years, we've been listening to them almost daily, and they just continue to blow our minds. Their depth and breadth is astounding. How they aren't household names is obvious: they are too deep and broad for the shallowness of popular culture. But I will say this, as a huge fan of so much of what came out of the early 1990s (Pixies, Nirvana, Pavement, the Breeders, et al.), Ween is BY FAR the most substantial and inventive and talented of them all. Maybe in a few decades, future generations will hold them in their rightful place: alongside the Beatles.

this was right after a long hiatus, after parts of 2004 tour were cancelled. I agree it's one of the best Ween videos available. nothing beats 91 at the Wetlands.

I am a new Weenhead. I love every song I have heard by this great band. There is still a lot that I haven't heard yet. I wish I got into them years ago, but on the same note I am glad I didn't cuz there is so much great Ween music to discover.

I would put this particular show in the top 5 live Ween videos of all time. Along with Live in Chicago, 98 Rutgers University NJ, Live at Wetlands 91, 95 Warrington PA Skating Rink...and possibly the Colorado reunion one too.

My brother's former mother-in-law lives in New Hope, PA. My brother and his ex were visiting her and they said we want to go to the WEEN show but we're broke. The mother said, "OH, I'm friends with Mickey's mom, I'll ask for tickets." She came back with VIP passes. It wasn't this show.

love the New Hope crowd... Most are prob only there cause it's live music, not knowing they're watching the most EPIC band of all time... then you got the 10 die hard WEEN fans from in town that are mind blown.

I liked Ween for years but never got as into them as I am now. 23, Moved to the local “big city” around me (SL, UT) in search of sex good times and booze, and it wasnt until a coworker asked me if i like Ween that i remembered them and how awesome they are. I started singing “Spinal Meningitis(Got Me Down)” to her. She has a boognish on her ass as a tattoo(and a boyfriend so no luck there) As far as Ween goes they are my best musical “friend” in this lame ass lonely period where I know nobody, except female coworkers with boyfriends or husbands. Lame huh I almost saw them in Austin TX 2016 but the Levitation fest got rained out and they just bailed. Still saw King Gizzard and smaller Psych Rock bands but they got nothing on Ween. My friends flew out from Canada and they still missed the Brown. We will reunite for a Ween show next year. Hopefully I will meet a nice lady out here age 23-35 who also likes Ween, that is better than my awful exes in Texas!!! (and Utah)
