WEEVIL UPDATE: 1984 Datsun C20 Vanette Gets a BATH!!

I REALLY made them work for their money on this one folks! Years of caked dirt came flying off, and I'm pretty sure they displaced a few insect families too, lol!! Yes, this was indeed oddly-satisfying to watch, hope u enjoy it too!! :)
As mentioned in my community section, I actually drove the van to the car wash down the road, but it hardly qualifies as a first drive since I didn't even make it out of 1st gear, hahaha!!
However, one burning question has been answered and put to rest.... YES, I can fit inside and drive it, I look ridiculous, but it's possible, hahaha!!
So the van journey continues, stay tuned for more to come folks!!😀

It quite difficult to gear in especially the gear is very loose. And it really din bath for long long long long time. My dad just dun like to wash car🤭🤭

Japanese vans, man this is something i miss for sightings. This Vanette and Nissan Caravan/ Homy, LH 30 Hiace... Good luck on this.

The good thing with a van is you don't need to reverse to side park... Simply because you're sitting so close to the front end😀😀😀😀

The thing about driving a van is that have to get used to the wheels being behind you. Many times I have clipped the curb turning a bit too early 🤣

The brake, ah yes. My dad's C22 rear brake will lock up so easily even on dry road, unloaded, perhaps this affect its weight shift.

Correct, I wonder if this van had an LSPV aka load sensing proportioning valve for the brakes. I remember Ford & Mazda vans had them 😀

By you able to drive the van, shows the true old school engineering is really built to last forever. What it needs, is a new set of old school rims. Long live the Datsun "Weevil" Van.
