I have a suggestion: You should list out items in a list and display it to the public, either in the video or in the description. This helps us review and see which ones to implement and which ones we're already implementing.

1. don't count calories 2. Add 1-2 cups of veggies to each meal, non-starchy veggies like leafy greens (spinach, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, etc) 3. Don't use artificial sweeteners 4. Don't put sugar in your morning coffee (keto coffee?? She has recipes) 5. Scheduled treat day 6. Get more deep sleep (oof), she has sleep videos don't worry 7. Walk, don't do excessive cardio 8. Eat until satiated; protein, fat, fiber 9. Cut out the protein bars 10. Intermittent fasting

Charlesbjtown Cuz there is no need to count calories if you just eat healthy things and stop eating if you’re really full. But it’s important to eat slowly!

Same thing has happened to me recently! I've been counting calories, trying fad diets such as keto for about 3 years now... Nothing has worked, never gotten anything to stay off. Recently (a month ago) my partner and I switched to not counting calories and just switched to less processed foods, more whole foods, fruits, and veggies (not cutting them all out... I love kraft singles and soda and donuts from the store bakery, but now they're a treat food). I've lost 4 lbs and I've been keeping it off! Trying to lose 50, so slow and steady wins the race but damn this is more progress than I've had in THREE YEARS. It's lovely.

I find it quite confusing. How should I make sure without counting calories that I am getting enough protein and healthy fat and not too much carbs? Also if I use for example parmesan how do I make sure I don't use too much in my meal? This is hard! 😄

No matter how many videos you say it in I love hearing that walking is a great way to lose weight. Still doing my 3-5 miles a day and I feel great and belly fat is disappearing.

Calorie counting is impractical because should a dieter exceed their limit they can become discouraged.

I’m so glad you said walk, I cannot do anything high intensity. My arthritis is so severe in my knees, I get discouraged watching all these channels telling us to do hiit. I just can’t do it. I can only walk one mile at a time 4 times a day. Nothing straining, nothing fast, but I do walk...

So I stepped on the scale this morning seeing I lost weight even being over my calorie limit for the past few days and after watching this video I realized I’ve been doing everything in this video that you mentioned! I love your channel btw! I knew adding spinach and leafy greens to my meals has been helping. Even swapping lettuce with spinach and getting more vegetables in sandwiches I’d get on the go has been making a difference. 👏🏻

I have to say, I've been watching a LOT of youtube videos lately for weight loss, and your is my FAVORITE. I use to be in the military and at my "prime" but after having my baby, sadly i can't get rid of the belly fat!!!! I was considering counting calories because that is the hype right now, and i'm very happy to hear that is not needed! Thank you for being REAL and honest!

I love the tip to add 2 servings of vegetables in each meal. I've watched quite a few weight loss videos and they all say eat more veggies but some how add 2 in per meal seems more achievable

Counting calories has worked for me, I’m 3 weeks in on counting calories and I’m down 8 pounds. It doesn’t have to be difficult, keep it healthy and don’t take calories for gospel 👌 some people try to cheat counting calories but just use it as a tool not a cure all. (edit: don't listen to me, check comment if you want.)

How did it work for you? I’ve been calorie counting for a small caloric deficit to lose a bit of fat even though I wasn’t overweight just for my personal look goals. Now I’m seeing a lot about it lowering metabolism permanently and leading to even more weight gain.

@@rebekahwebster3104 Oh I forgot I made this comment haha. My views have changed dramatically since I made this comment. I wouldn't recommend calorie counting for anyone really. Recently I accidentally got myself into a cycle of disordered eating. I didn't eat anything until 5 in the evening (I'm in school so I didn't have time to eat till I got home). I wasn't counting calories, but I know I wasn't getting enough calories. This went on for months and I weighed myself recently and I am the exact same weight. This is my personal experience and my conclusion is that calorie deficits don't work. My aim is just to be healthy now.

The walking is a big one. I decided to mix up my cardio and do a week of walking instead of running and lost more weight that week than normal. so I believe you are dead right about that. Being a guy, belly fat is exactly what I'm trying to loose, and I love walking and well I don't hate running, but I certainly don't love it, so I'll definitely be doing a lot more walking from now on!

I never counting my calories. Still losing so many kgs and keep it off. My tips are : Just Focus on fixing/level up your insulin sensitivity. To do that you have to manage the way you live completely. Manage what you eat (especially sugar and refined carbs), workout, manage your stress, have a quality sleep. so intermittent fasting regularly.

Hey Autumn, all the way from Paris, France, where believe it or not, people are starting to struggle with losing extra weight ! Love your channel, am subscribed, and have been doing intermittent fasting for 9 mos. now. Lost 12 lbs. Used to be a marathoner, and always wondered why I could never lose the darn belly fat in spite of the intense training....Thank you ! I feel more sane... Here is a super important point about most artificial sweeteners : they have been found to cause insulin spikes (yikes!) , which of course makes you hungrier and fatter... The only one to not cause insulin spikes is Stevia, which I only consume in tiny quantities and only occasionally. Another thing that has REALLY helped is significantly decreasing my wheat consumption (yeah, good luck doing that in France !) . Now when I do eat wheat, I find that it makes me ravenously hungry a couple hours later, and much more so than other carbs. I'm also doing 5 minutes of weight training every morning at home. Totally do-able with a working single Mom schedule, and it has increased my muscle mass and, I believe, my BMR. Thanks for the awesome advice (I'm American by the way). :-D

@@astoronto764 I train for 15 minutes with Holly Dolke - I've seen some changes in my body. Lost arround 10 - 12 cm. So 5 minutes are much better than nothing :-)

Where have you been my life? I’ve been intuitively putting to practice so much of what you say in this video and it works! Like, really works. Great hack: if I’m eating anything, I add cut up spinach into the warm dish so it wilts. You don’t taste the spinach and you’ve easily added a cup into your meal. I was using erythritol and felt incredibly sick - drowsy / bloated... I wasn’t losing weight. Once I noticed it was the sweetener that made me feel unwell, I cut it off and dropped five pounds in one week! You’re amazing!!!!!

I have been adding vegetables to each of my meals for the past few days and I am experiencing a lot less bloating. I always have steamed vegetables though because I have problems with my gums, but this has really been helping me. I don’t feel the need to snack as often.

Oh after a long time I am looking for this kind of videos! I lost 6 kilos with keto, and gained 8kgs when I stopped. So I tried counting calories, lost 5kilos and gain back 4 kilos. I need something that I can do for a long time not a certain « diet » because I don’t want to spend the rest of my life doing the diet 😣 thank you sooo much for this video. New subscriber here ❤️

Thank you, Autumn, for your videos. I have hormonal imbalance and obviously I overtrained.. I am a bit confused, is it ok to do intermittent fasting when you have hormonal imbalance?
