The Batfleck training montage impressed me when I first saw it, both in how little bullshit it contained relative to some movie training montages and how in shape Affleck looked.

@Tang-qi6zw Жыл бұрын
@@michaelross1452no. The cross shadows from the ropes wouldn’t work CGI. Aflek is in great shape already. A “peak week”, some tanner to darken his skin, a pump, some eyeliner to darken shadows under the muscles, some glycerine to add shininess, great downlighting, and a quick post-production color correction. That training montage was probably filmed in a few hours. So he doesn’t “look” like that. But he does.

Bit of input on the TRT front: depending on how often you inject, you want to swap sites as often as you can. Delts aren’t great, but it’s better than building up scar tissue by hitting just one area over and over. The needle they had in the movie is absolutely enormous, though. Looks like a damn drinking straw. I’d be hesitant to stick that in a horse.
@joemacleod-iredale28882 жыл бұрын
Maybe it’s not a needle, it’s a cannula, so they can just leave it in and he can have a drip bag of TRT on the go?

Actually, as far as I know Arnold competed in Power Lifting and even won some competitions. That's where he met Franco Colombo, who was a Power Lifter at the time. Arnold convinced him to move to Body Building. But at that time all Power Lifters knew the Oly Lifts. Re the split versions. When I was lifting as a kid, throughout the 80's everyone over 30-35 did split cleans and split snatches. My father changed to squat versions and kept it for the clean but moved back to split snatches. When he was younger his split snatches where beautiful. His hip was as low as when squatting, front thigh firmly on his calf and the hip just above the ankle. He's 77 now and still competing.

Zack, what do you think about kettlebells? Kettlebell sports originated from Olympic weightlifting, as far as I know.
@Sbeved2 жыл бұрын
Most people's issue with kettlebells is even though you can do a lot of exercises with them, is that they don't (normally) overload very well. It's incredibly expensive to have kettlebells in intervals of 2.5lbs/5lbs, and when you get to heavier weights, they become difficult to source on-top of being overpriced. So it becomes both an accessibility issue and a low-ceiling issue (for most people and gyms). I love kettlebells, but there's a lot more room with dumbbells and barbells for loading.

The safest places to inject intramuscularly are the glutes, the delts, and the quads, in that order. This is because you can basically guarantee you won't hit a major nerve or blood vessel if you go glutes or delts, whereas basically every other muscle group has big arteries or nerves you might hit. In my opinion there is no more pain in a delt injection than a glute one, although having post injection pain is easiest to manage in the glutes. I personally wouldn't inject a suspension anywhere other than my ass because of the increased abcess risk using water suspensions rather than oil carriers, easier to cut an abcess out your bum cheek than have a rotting hole next to your shoulder joint.
@SliPsHoTiFc2 жыл бұрын
only thing i know that can be done in the delt although controversial. is trying to hit peak values of hGH. most inject into stomach but sometimes guys want that peak IGf-1 values.
