I was 36 years old when I learned about my Indigenous history. When I learned about Residential Schools, Indian Act and Reservation, I cried for 6 months. Healing is a journey, not a destination. I encourage every person living on Turtle Island to know about the true dark history of Canada.

...You do realize these are indigenous people right? These are native americans (as in, native to North America, we tend to use "First Nations" here but its the exact same thing). Canada-US borders did not exist pre colonialism and many people from the same tribe can live in different parts of both Canada and America. They are not copying themselves!!! This is like commenting on a video about French people in Canada and saying "could you not copy French people in France thanks", thats how absurd this comment is. And most indigenous people are 100% okay with other indigenous people internationally participating in these sort of things, and clearly the native people in this video are OK with non indigenous people coming to participate and learn. I'm Metis (indigenous) btw.
