I was just there! Had a bear in the tree when we arrived and salmon on the grill. Amazing beauty all around. Great people and great food…especially those beans!

With a free afternoon before we began our Uncruise, we stumbled on the float-plane trip and Taku Lodge. It turned out to be one the best parts of a fabulous Alaska adventure. The takeoffs and landings were silky smooth and the flight over the glaciers awe-inspiring. After a magical walk through the rain forest next to the lodge, the salmon feast was delicious. This experience is not cheap but it is so very much worth it.

My husband and I went to Taku Lodge last August it was fantastic. The plane ride was so smooth. They have the best cookies!

One or two of the side dishes were irresistible. Is it possible to get recipes? This was a few years ago, though, 2014, but I'm assuming the menu hasn't changed.
