I plan on spraying truck box liner on the bottom and frame in my 69 Camaro I’m rebuilding. It will be tougher than paint and more moisture resistent as well. The shop I have it in gets pretty damp so the car needs the added protection.

Also with your table you could set it up and plumb it for a vacuum. Then when grinding it will help remove dust.

Might have to get a new helmet now seems to be a good one as far as frame wrinkle is what I like and it does hide some imperfection but it's your car so you should do what you want can't wait to see it finished

I too bought one 302c love it,I come to like the fact you turn both knobs in same direction for adjusting,,was use to older method...I added cheater lens,as well as USB chargeable light for added ability...replace outer lenses as needed and enjoy a new level of welding

Yep it's a pain to adjust your helmet and I wear glasses under mine too and especially hard when under a truck up in the frame.

I used grey bed liner paint on a frame it turned out really nice ,, glad your back brother 👍

Arco . There's only two awsome frame paints PERIOD . Rust buller and Por 15 for get a kinked finish . Gloss black or satin . 👍👌 . cheers

Truck bedliner mixed with black, semi-gloss paint for the frame.

Medallion Refinish by Rubber Seal, has another paint line that has a wrinkle finish. I'll get the information and get back to you tomorrow.

get it plasted and epoxy primed and then use upol raptor bedliner it can be tinted to colour of the car

Undercoat I think valugard is the best.... wrinkle coat in a custom color whould be different for sure!

Nice work amigo!! I think you could paint the frame in black POR15 if you want a smooth finish. Or primer it and use a roll on bed liner in whatever color you want. Just depends on what finish you're looking for.

That is a cool lookin helmet, wonder how much of a deference from 3m SpeedGlass. Having the filter/fan eliminates the fog. Those side panels are better for sure.

Not sure how well Raptor Bed Coating world hold up. It does yield a texture and I’ve had good luck on beds.

Wrinkle powdercoat if u can find a big enough oven or eastwood has wrinkle paint for chassis I've used pretty good stuff

I have a save phace that does the same dropping thing. It you don’t have it sitting right with the right adjustment it can get annoying.

That helmet might b great for a home welder but I will stick with my Jackson speed glass
