I would have to agree. Neither is uncomfortable but the YesWelder is probably a little more comfortable.

Apparently the YesWelder batteries last on average 5 years, a design of a $50 throw away helmet. The module can be hacked, and batteries replaced.

The Yeswelder helmet battery is not replaceable. Have you taken the window/electronic panel off the helmet to see if their is a way to replace the battery? Thinking about buying the Yeswelder but non-replaceable battery is a deterrent.

I haven’t tried because it’s always worked but I wonder if you could. I’m pretty sure the Harbor Freight isn’t replaceable either.

Have you ever used both and compared the viewing windows side by side? The YesWelder has a significantly better viewing window that is much more clear. Not to mention, I said don't hesitate to buy either, they're both good helmets. You're welcome to believe that I am biased, and maybe I am slightly, but theres no doubt that the YesWelder has a much more clear image, and its worth it. Not to mention less expensive.
