Crosshair in season one was like the final boss in a video game. Crosshair in season 3 is the boss when you unlock him as a playable character

One detail I really like from this episode is how competent the Imperial garrison at the labor camp was. The moment the commander understood that something was wrong, he immediately took action and commanded the response, and even the TK troopers that landed on the Juggernaut moved quickly to disable the main weapons on the tank and started trying to open it.

I loved how this episode showed us that Rampart is still a bastard eventhough he has spent s year in a labor camp. He wants to be in control, can't stand being commanded around by a nobody; He remembers Crosshairs code but doesn't even bother to call him by his name; He tries to spin his kidnapping into his favor; And as soon as he sees a gun, he tries to grab it to shoot people. The man is rotten through and through

I enjoyed this episode, but I really hope that the finale is an hour long. There's so much to tie up, especially considering this is the final season.

It was a FUN episode and the turbo tank action killed it

Everyone's harping on the end of the episode where Omega gets the monologue from Hemlock... sure we as the audience already know all that, but she doesn't know jack shit yet. I think it was meant to really have us feel the weight of her decision last episode, from her point of view. She might not have put all the puzzle pieces together quite yet, but it's like an "oh shit, this is more serious than I thought" moment. 3:43 Looking back on this scene, damn Tarkin's cold. He basically played everyone else seated at that table. And he's already maneuvering to fuck Hemlock over as we saw recently.

I love Hemlock’s excitement about science and progress. Even though we know he wants to ascend the ranks, you can see he’s fascinated; whatever makes him mad is quickly overtaken by news of advancement or getting back on track with his project. It’s a great character trait. Ruthless but utilitarian, as Thrawn is.

If anything I feel like Rampart will end up trying to redeem himself in the eyes of the empire.

I like how we get to really see the power of the Juggernaut assault vehicles in the episode

that tank fight was awesome, there arnt many scenes where you get to see them I action in starwars media.

I hope they have wolf and Gregor and other clones in this episode to infiltrate tantis and free the clones.

I think this episode is great. I wasn't expecting Rampart but they really needed to bring him back to tie off that loose thread. The scene that Hemlock casually walks Omega back into Mount Tantis was genius. It showed how in control he is of her now and i love how he just walks her straight into the belly of the beast, locking the doors behind them as she's introduced to her new permanent cell. Crossheir going up against his former boss really highlighted his progression through the show as well.

I feel like Rampart will be the turncoat that causes whatever plan to go sideways; I think he is still loyal to the Empire, and would turn in dissidents to regain favor. I am hoping for a clearcut finale to the Bad Batch, and I think the confirmed death of any one of the main characters would be the cinching point. With Phee joining the team for the finale, you know it is all but confirmed that the clone assassin is a "rehabilitated" Tech, since the burgeoning relationship between them is that clearest plot thread to build on with her. Phee and Tech will have to make it out of the finale alive, Disney wouldn't allow a child character to bite it so Omega is safe, Wrecker is a lovable oaf that no one wants to see go but is also pretty accident-prone... 50/50 on if Wrecker will make it, Crosshair is a character on a redemption arc and those can be a death-sentence more often than not but if only one person dies it won't be Crosshair, Hunter is Omega's father figure and that is a guaranteed death-sentence in the Star Wars universe. Echo is with Rex, and while they will probably recruit Wolff to join their liberation effort, Echo is not part of Rex's old-man-clone-squad in Rebels so Echo's survivability is dubious, but his story has been pretty sparse lately and I see no reason to kill him off, if he gets his brain fried trying to hack some terminal on Tantiss then it will be really upsetting.

It took me until this episode to realize that Crosshair does the same thing with his right hand that Dr. Hemlock does with his right hand.

I love the bad batch tv show but I do wish they would have either actual 30 min episodes or 1 hour long episodes cause waiting each week for only 20 mins or 25 does feel like a let down sometimes but I still been enjoying the episodes.

I kinda disagree with the point made about Dr Hemlock and Omega heading into the vault. I think that there was too much focus on what was being said rather than looking at what was going on. Seeing all the guards, the laser defences and the locked doors signifies that Omega is not getting out of here easy unlike her first escape. She is most likely now in the most secure place in the galaxy. The sense of dread on her seeing how inescapable her prison has now become is truly what that scene was about. All my opinion though but that’s what I was seeing wonder if anyone agrees.

I’m glad they showed the true power of the juggernaut in this episode. Easily smashing through Barricades and even destroying another juggernaut! My favourite wheeled vehicle in Star Wars😍😎

I agree with your take. This really doesn’t feel like the end of the show. There’s definitely a lot of buildup and setup, but it feels more like buildup to a season finale than it does a series finale. Hopefully they don’t leave it off on a huge cliffhanger for some other show to wrap up

I think the last episode might lead to other clones joining Rex’s rebelion, wolf does join Rex at some point and it would make sense with the episode title, “the cavalry has arrived”

Sometimes when waiting for the next episode of the Bad Batch to drop early wednesday mornings, I bong rip my farts.

I found the Juggernaut escape sequence pretty entertaining, but the lack of a single comment from any of the characters about abandoning the other Imperial prisoners on the tank to their deaths was pretty surprising to me. It would've made more sense to me to have the shots from the gunship causing the tank to begin slowing down to a stop instead of driving off the ledge, and create the tension through troops converging on their position (maybe they make it to a wide open area and troopers are setting up cannons for Phee's ship, etc.).

Given that the previous seasons were both 16 episodes, and that they've already done several bundle weeks with multiple episodes this season, i suspect that the finale is actually a 2-parter, but Disney decided to label it as a single episode for some reason (possibly to alter the narrative with regards to runtime; people would be much more amenable to 1 episode at 40-45 minutes than 2 episodes at 20-22 minutes)

The vault scene I was thinking we were going to see Tech that was in a mangled state or in transition to being a Dark Trooper from his injuries

@1:20 You have to be mispronouncing that on purpose. @2:20 Omega is not force sensitive. The Empire thinks she's able to receive a force sensitivity transfusion, so to speak. That way they can create clones & imbue them with midiclorians for palpatine's return. All paths lead to The Sequels.

Loved this episode. I'm thinking the force sensitive kids don't have any clue they are force sensitive and Omega is going to help them ignite thier powers just based on what Ventress told her.

I dont know if Tantas had this type of music before (I guess I also wasn’t paying much attention to it) but when the scene showed Tantas in the beginning when the ship came and dropped of Omega, it sounded very close to Thrawn’s theme with the organ and electric guitar. I thought he was about to show up in this episode. This season somehow connects everything that Disney is making so if they bring up Thrawn, that would be cool. Hemlock is that Thrawn character I feel like, so there is no need to bring back another high ranking character

I really believe after the empire gets what they need from Omega, she will leave with Ventress to end series. Omega can do a lot more with training to protect herself and her family.

I have a theory on Rampart. He killed a clone commando to keep the bad batch a secret. In season two episode two. Rampart was told about clone force 99 surviving. That clone commander was planning on reporting the situation to Tarkan. But Rampart told him to edit the report not to include the bad batch. So in all likelihood Rampart had his reasons on doing that and I feel like he did it to protect them if in case something bad happened.

I’m gonna go with rampart knows where there is a down ship with the coordinates or he is gonna suggest palpatines private shuttle. Either way I’m guessing they will have to sneak upon a ship

It really hurts that it's going to be the final season as there are no more Clone Wars - style animated series coming our way except for Tales of The Empire (which is just a collection of shorts, so it doesn't really count). With The Bad Batch ending, my childhood of Clone Wars truly is over...

WIth each episode I understand better why they are "bad" batch. For guys who are wanted and in hiding they are too laid back, do no planning, and also naively trust everyone

I like it, and I think it has real tension, but I find it a bit hard to believe that the Empire didn’t pull a Cloud City on Pabu. Either way, the Bad Batch would have escaped in a similar way…

I hope it’s not Thrawn that Rampart is reaching out to. Unless I’m really mixing up my timeline here, he should still be working his way up the imperial ranks hinting down smugglers and pirates on various cruisers with Eli Vanto at this time. He’s definitely not Grand Admiral yet, nor should he even be Commodore Thrawn on a star destroyer yet. They brought Zahn back to give use new canon trilogies for Thrawn and that time period at the beginning of the empire all the way till the Rebels series basically. It would be a shame for show runners to throw that out just because it came from novels instead of animated or live action source material. There would be no reason to do that when they’re already getting to write new unencumbered material with him during the New Republic period.

Loved the juggernaught clash, but its kinda embarrassing that the empire didnt have fighters peotecting the base, and didnt have any sort of ship protecting it either. A few x wings and the whole place is gone.

one thing I didn't notice until now. Is when Omega was being brought to the vault she was told her blood wasn't force sensitive but could receive it with no loss. Pls let me know if I got that wrong.

These last few episodes are like the last few in Clone Wars final season. One big story, starting with last week. This week moved the players along the board. I imagine next week the plan will backfire and we’ll lose one or two of our main characters due to Rampart alerting the Empire. This will set up the final push, aligning with Ventress (how else are they going to get into that facility?), and Omega will hide with Ventress for the foreseeable future until their live action debut in The Book of Omega.

They’re obviously going to get wiped out by Vader, who the. Takes what he learns and begins project StarKiller

I think Hemlock building up to a huge reveal and it just ending up being something we already knew was on purpose, it was meant to show us how deep and secretive these labs are. We thought we were going to see Hemlock showing Omega whatever abomination he showed to Palpatine, but the writers are like: "Na-ah! We're not gonna show you that yet! 👀"

No, just no. Omega does NOT have an heightened connection to the Force. I don’t know why this is a debate. They’ve made it very obvious the whole point of the experiments was to facilitate cloning someone who IS. As has been shown in Ahsoka, she CAN train to have proficiency wielding it, but that will NOT happen naturally.

Maybe a hot take but it seems to me so many clones are being setup, Cody, Wolfe, Rex’s group etc and none seem to go anywhere in this show. Given the popularity of clone conspiracy etc I wonder if there will be a new show following the clones as they grow their own rebellion. Ok that sounds like exactly how the advertised BB, but they failed at that concept if we are being honest. So it’s possible they may take that route with having Rex go on adventures and build a clone hideout with the help of chuchi etc

Just a theory but what if omega IS force sensitive, so her test reading a successful m count transfer is just her own m count. Perhaps they didn’t test her for m count because she is a clone and as of right now it is known to be impossible to have a force sensitive clone.

I don't see Rampart becoming a "hero" He is evil straight up. Anything he does is just for revenge. The thing about Kallus, like I said from day one... He wasn't evil, he was a "patriot" a "believer." Like many in the early days of the Empire, he believed what they were doing was right. Up until he saw first hand the evil they were doing. That's actually a running theme throughout Star Wars. Rampart though? Nuh-uh... Nope, there is no way you destroy an entire planet and say it's justified morally, and we know he was a big fan of mistreating the clones.

General consensus is this episode was meh.. I actually really enjoyed it more than most. The action was top tier Indiana Jones style along with the music. It was like a 20 minute blockbuster Pixar film. This is a really great show. Sorry to see it go, but looking forward to some live a tion content like it in future
