The workout listed below is a full-body, strength building workout that can be done by utilizing the cable cross machine. Most likely, you won't have an apparatus like this at home. Luckily though, most commercial gyms offer some type of variation of an entire cable cross or cable pulley machine.
Though cables may not provide the same accessory muscle training that free weights can, the important thing to note for this workout is that it's a SAFER workout. Provided you're using weights that work well for you, and you complete the motions of the exercise properly, there's little chance for injury.

Cool I do cable squats at times, but never seen it as a popular exercise at the gym. My favorite part of the video though is the caved in wall lol!

My apartment complex only has a cable machine, this is perfect for me to get started back into lifting. Maybe soon, I will get a gym membership so i can access free weights. For the time being, this is great. Thanks for sharing.

I'm a complete beginner. Just went to the gym for the 2nd time and I realized how unstructured my "workout" is. I just walk around and look like the complete newbie that I am. Lord is it awkward. Embarrassingly enough as soon as I arrived and came to the conclusion that I still don't know what to do decided to leave and make/search for a workout plan at home instead. I didn't feel like interrupting the workouts of any more strangers. I can't handle looking this incompetent.

Those cable bent laterals or whatever you call them are actually pullovers and they work the back and the chest both.

I'd also suggest lying on a flat bench with pulleys on bottom setting and tree hug. Thanks for your tips

Good Excercices but I have 2 points At first:in minute8&9in horizontal pull for back may be the cable need make down lately Second in woodchoops the opposite for the cable,isn't it? Thanks

Be careful with this exercise, if you don't know what you doing. Keep good form. You can hurt your back. This is a great exercise when done properly. I'm not saying I had problems with it. I'm basicly just warning/advising beginners.

I love cables but whenever I do Pec flys I almost never feel anything. So, I just use the Pec fly machine.

What about dead lifts and leg presses? It seems to me that you could do both of these exercises by lying on the floor and using only one cable.

squat was completely wrong ..should have used a v bar attachment and performed goblet squats .....cable flys where performed incorrectly 1st exercise with cables up high should have been to target lower chest so you should have performed this in a more upright position with your arms in a hugging position but going lower than normal........when performing back exercise it should have been set lower down

C-Pone Greatness constant weight. 12 reps lower weight but when ur getting to last 2 on 1st set and feel little burn. 2nd set should be last 3. 3rd set when u get to ur 8th rep should feel really burning

You add this to your regular routine. Stuff like this helps work smaller muscles and give a better definition. Doing heavy compound lifts is great for mass, but sometimes it's good to focus on aesthetics. IMO stuff like pec flys work better on a cable machine than using dumbells. Or you can use a cable machine to take your arms to failure.

Going into a gym with just ONE cable machine and doing a whole workout using that machine is not a good idea. The last idiot to hog the machine for over an hour was not very popular.

Who cares.. You go into the gym for yourself. If anything you can let one other person rotate with you or even better go early when it's less busy

Well some people have these machines in their homes or hotels. I agree it would be rude to do this workout in a busy gym with others wanting to use it.
