I remember my mother having a typewriter, when I was a young child, that required using that lever manually like that to advance to the next line.

I had trigger finger surgery years ago. I was so glad i did it. My finger would get stuck down and i couldn't grip anything.

One of my employees just had that surgery a couple months ago. I had never known it was a real thing and I'm 47.

If the typewriter rubber platen is old and hard, typing will puncture the paper.

I have actually used Vaseline on super old dry baseball gloves, and it does wonders. I'm not sure I would use it on newer gloves.

Check to make sure that your LP link shows that it went to Etsy. I am able to send stuff to Etsy but there is no link on LP.

etsy needs to get rid of all the sellers not handmaking stuff anyways :)

Don't count on it. Etsy is struggling to turn a profit in 2024.

It’s $15 store setup fee for Etsy. At least that’s what I paid.

So glad I watched today…I have been going through some old toys from a private pick and I had the Bumblebee on my coffee table as you started talking about it. Do you have a site you are using? The sticker top of on mine is no help since it has been mostly pulled off with just a dot of white paper left. On the bottom mine has Takara Co. LTD, 1974*1983* Japan on one extremity and @Hasbro 1980.1984 on the other. The ‘license plate sticker on mine looks different than the others Ihave seen. Most seem to have a single large circular design. Mine has a block of blue at the top with two smaller circles beneath, one on top of the other. Ideas? No worries if you don’t know. Just thought I would ask. Great video today! I have been enjoying the gi Joe updates. I have a lot of the same items you have been finding. I.e.The Wolverine anti-aircraft missile launcher. Any suggestions on repairing figures. I have a bag full! lol Thanks for all the entertainment!

I signed up for Etsy a few months ago, they charged me $15, I listed one thing and then I had to pay .30. I immediately took the item down and haven't listed anything else there since. I have 2,500 items in my ebay store. If I crosslist them all to Etsy I will have to pay .30 for every item listed every month? No way.
@emmieHDАй бұрын
The listing fee is for 4 months. You pay that fee once every 4 months. Their selling fees are less that ebays and etsy buyers will pay more for items.
@LISA-em4piАй бұрын
@@emmieHDThat's still too much.
@angelbabe1977Ай бұрын
@emmieHD agreed! I took all my listngs down (except a couple ive just added), but will be reading ad soon as I start making my gift baskets again (end of summer). But I definitely prefer that .20 once a quarter, per item over eBay high fees (however eBay and Poshmark are my main selling locations). The more you sell the less those fees are noticeable and you learn to adjust your pricing to reflect those fees.
@LISA-em4piАй бұрын
@@angelbabe1977 At least the fees occur only if you sell on ebay minus the store fee. I don't want to pay for the items over and over again until I sell them on etsy.
@GlamGam1964Ай бұрын
I was dismayed to hear of a store set up fee. I have a single item that would sell better on Etsy, and I have been procrastinating starting a store. Now I know why. The item will now be going on eBay. It’s a large vintage amber lamp. Worth about $300 on Etsy and only 150-200 on eBay. I’ll go for the higher number and hope for the best. I have decided that cross listing is not for me. I have one item on mercari. Been there since they eliminated seller fees. I sell the same item on eBay a few a week. It’s coming off mercari. I guess I’m an eBay girl.

S doesn’t really fit in with what you were saying about Temu but in several groups I’m in we have noticed that Temu steal people’s Etsy listing photos and then sells a product exactly like what the crafter is selling. Not relevant to people that sell vintage stuff on Etsy but it’s terrible for creative folks creative folks making and selling goods.
