The fact neither spiderman nor RE4 Remake got any awards is crazy. But then again, 2020 already proved how easy it can be for a studio to buy awards. And winning awards is by all means a positive for marketing. I’m not saying Baldur’s didn’t deserve GOTY… it just didn’t deserve ALL the awards alongside Alan Wake, great games, but it’s marketing.
