“NCT are not predictable” they always, legit always go outside the box for their title tracks and they make it work. You never know what they could be doing for the next comeback. They are very, but very unique in the kpop industry. They put out songs that are different which other groups are afraid to try. You can genuinely tell their team puts so much thought into what they are going to release. this has such an SM vibe to it, the uniqueness.

haechan has one of the largest dancing backgrounds in NCT i believe. he has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, sports dance, etc. on top of his time as a trainee. definitely one of top 5 best dancers in NCT

Yes, you are correct- both Bring the Noize and Lemonade are diss tracks or statements of intention and challenge. NCT 127 especially has been called "noise" music (they tend to get the most unusual and challenging title tracks) and I think they knew that Sticker would also be a challenging song that would get a lot of the same. But they never shy away from trying difficult and eclectic styles. And Promise You is indeed a song for the fans, talking about how they've been waiting to see us again (it's been about a 18 months since their last comeback as 127 not to mention their tour that was cancelled due to pandemic) All the songs lyrics are worth checking out in detail as they are very specifically chosen. I feel like 127 has such a depth and crazy mix of talent (all of NCT does really) that they can really do *anything*. They all have such different styles and strengths and there are 9 of them and they all want to push themselves to grow which is soooo admirable. It's been a pleasure watching them over the years and they still have so many possibilities to try.... it's never boring for sure ;)

The thing with Taeyong being quiet around SuperM, especially if you're watching something from earlier on, is that he's working with his seniors and Koreans are very conscious of age/rank.... plus they're not just any seniors... Taemin, Baekhyun and Kai are artists that he (and the others) respect and admire greatly, even having known them for years since their rookie days, there's still that awe there I think... like, you can just see the shyness and deference emanating from all four NCT members initially, but you also see them get more comfortable with one another as they grow as a team. I highly recommend the "SuperM Takes A Friendship Test" video by Glamour... it's sooo cute! 😊 NCT 127 has one that's great as well! Also there's a video of Taemin teaching Haechan some choreo from 'Idea' and that kid is so STARSTRUCK, it's adorable.

I love your amazement with 127 throughout this whole video lol people don't realize sometimes the POWERHOUSE that is NCT, I mean you've got talent galore in Dream, showstoppers in 127 and stunners in WayV, all in ONE group like it's crazy. Sticker is SO good, NCT never do what's expected with their title tracks and every one is fantastic. Sticker is hit or miss for a lot of people, but that's what makes it so neo (nct). Lemonade and Bring The Noize lyrics pretty directly address this and state boldly that this is their sound, their proud and you can be mad but they won't stop. Taeyong is SUPER cute, he's one of the cutest members, his duality is wild. He takes his craft and art super serious, as leader of the whole group especially (the members say he's the strictest and scariest when it comes to practice and learning), but he's so sweet and kind, everyone kind of babies him anyway. He (and Mark) write their rap verses very often and they did on Sticker and Taeyong even choreographed Bring The Noize himself! He knows the members so well that he made sure their parts for suited for them and the members said he put a lot of care into it. Haechan is FOR sure one of their best dancers (in 127 I'd say it's Taeyong, Yuta, Haechan, and Mark), he's amazing he's always so fluid and elegant looking. And him and Mark definitely bring some sex appeal in 127 lmao Jaehyun is an ace fr great rapper, singer and dancer. He's a main vocalist, but he raps very often, sometimes more than he sings even. You clocked onto some of their habits quickly too Doyoung is definitely the "stand, turn, pose and belt" singer lol and it was him and Taeil doing most of those background vocals!

As a 10+ years SM stan, SM artists will have a certain ability to sing no matter what their role in each group is; I’m saying listen to their singing parts if you wanna melt more. Mark and TY is THE DUO ✨ Jaehyun and Haechan has been acknowledged by the rest of the members for having above average skills in all area. They can sing, dance, rap and quite a visual; multitalented people only 😌 but what I can say both of them haven’t had much opportunities to rap in title track or their b-side previously. That’s why I’m sooo happy when they released Sticker and the rest of the album 🥺 Jungwoo and Jaehyun doesn’t get much chances to do adlibs, high notes or runs even until Sticker album but I’m sooo glad this time around they got moreeee lines (vocal and raps) IMAGINE JUNGWOO PUPPY GETTING A RAP LINE 🥺🥺🥺 That being said, most of the three things are done by Taeil, Doyoung and Haechan. NCT will rarely do anything safe and especially 127 won't. Each of their title tracks were game changers when they released and Sticker is no exception. NCT are also the kings of duality and Taeyong as leader of 127 and NCT as a whole, embodies that. He's the fiercest and most charismatic of performers yet is SO SOFT and sweet off stage. He's truly lovely. We don't call him Bubu for nothing 😂. Jaehyun (lip bite) does EVERYTHING while also being 127's main visual. He's amazing and he EATS on this project! Ilichil (127) also has NCT's holy trinity of vocalists in Taeil, Doyoung (he thinks that side profile is his best side 🤣) and Haechan but as you know NCT is STACKED with amazing vocalists (as expected from SM). 127 is the kind of group where everyone can do everything. So the "official rappers" can sing and the "official singers" can rap. Every now and then you will definitely see some of them do something that isn't their officially assigned position in the group!

Mark wasn’t lying when he said Jaehyun is good at everything . Funny how officially Jaehyun is a main vocal/lead dancer/visual and just a “sub rapper”. Jaehyun just started getting extended rap parts recently in the Neo Zone (Kick It) and Resonance (NCT 2020) albums. He actually auditioned for SM with rapping. A lot of people don’t notice how multi-talented Haechan is until you watch a couple different song performances and its hard for Haechan’s dancing to not stand out. He is also one of only a select few SM artists to get into the company through SM’s weekly Saturday auditions which are known to be really difficult to pass because there are so many ppl auditioning.

Yuta didn’t get much of my attention, not until Kick It era because SM finally listen to us and give him some lines. But in this album, I’m glad SM still provide him the opportunities to showcase more of what he got because that man ain’t just in the group for his visual. Yes almost all nct members can sing and they have one of the best vocal lines in Kpop. You’re right about “bring the noize” and “Lemonade” being diss tracks but I wanted to add that aside from “ bring the noize” being them flipping haters’ words against them it’s also about how they always bring new thangs to the table in a musical sense which causes conversations (noize). Jaehyun (lip biter) totally wrecked everyone this comeback and he is also one of the aces in nct. Haechan is one of the best dancers in the group so it’s totally understandable if you fall for his dancing (especially his hip moves, boy moves like satan). Taeyong is "complicated" as a person. I think he's naturally cute (he said that his normal voice is a bit in a higher pitch) but SM made him lower it to... I don't know "match" the NCT concept (ridiculous but that's the side of kpop I don't like). And his gaze too was stronger (I'm not talking about the stage) but once again SM formated him saying that his gaze was too strong and that he need to become softer (🤡). I guess the TY we know today just evolved (naturally or not) but inside he's very cute (he has natural aegyo) and shy and has a very pure heart. Sticker is certainly different. I’ve said this in the comment box of the MV that listening to the song is like kimchi. It’s an acquired taste. But I’ve never been prouder of them because they are so brave to release something that is totally new. How do we get to expand our taste if we don’t try anything new right? We would become stagnant. They could’ve released something that’s a lot more mainstream but no they chose this song and that speaks a lot of the confidence in their fans. It’s not a song that you’d like on first hear. Honestly I had to listen to it a lot of time before I got to like it. Now I’m having LSS (last song syndrome) I hum it now. Hahaha. Bring the Noize choreography was done by TaeYong that’s according to the boys. They said it during the showcase. I’m happy that you said the choreography was good. The showcase revealed so many things. I also like it that SM gives a showcase when an album gets released and it’s free. He’s the visual of the group but they’re all visuals absolutely no one is ugly in NCT. JungWoo - my baby boy. He’s an amazing singer too. You’re right he’s got soothing vocals and he can sing in a low register too. His voice can do trot music. He dances sharply too. He’s the mood maker and happy virus of the group. Even HaeChan who’s funny too would roll on the floor from laughing to Jungwoo’s jokes. I have been anticipating your Sticker reaction, but you went above and beyond (per usual) by adding those extra performances. Okay, first some general thoughts. With Sticker I really appreciated that they let the three main vocalists (Taeil, Doyoung, Haechan) shine by giving each of them a solo in the chorus. Sometimes I feel that people forget Taeil is a main vocalist because Doyoung and Haechan get a lot of attention. But I could see in every reaction clip how you took notice of Taeil. He’s not letting people forget this comeback. Taeyong is CUTE. It’s a problem and I hate him. I think you’re right that he’s teaching Mark about sexiness and that is going to be a huge problem moving forward. The Taeyong-Mark rap line is one of my favourite duos in all of K-Pop and I need one of them to restrain themselves in the MVs. By pointing out Taeyong’s pronunciation and Mark’s speed, you hit one of the reasons why I love their sections together. They are equally great rappers, but they are different enough to be complimentary instead of repetitive. I did know that Jaehyun raps, but I think this is the most I’ve seen him rap? Now I can’t decide what I prefer more - his rapping or singing. It’s definitely not his lip biting (which he got dragged for by the other members in the NCT 127 reaction video 😂). I loved your Sticker/Stick Up thoughts. How can I possibly forget NCT 127 when they’re doing all of that in their MVs? Stay is the last track on the album, so I really like that both songs were dedicated to the fans but had such different vibes. If Doyoung sings another cute little “please stay” I might throw something. I don’t even want to talk about Yuta, Jungwoo, Haechan, and Johnny because it’s just too much at this point.
