Jay was shooting lightning bolts out of his eyes at the benches while Churla was checking his jaw. As a fan back in the day I hated Churla, but have come to realize what an honest player he was and I've only heard nice things about him as a person.

He had a weird tendency to play deep in his net. It made him vulnerable to hard accurate shots like the one Reed Larson had. I’m not sure why he thought that style worked for him.

Was there a more overrated fighter than Semenko? You hear about how tough he was, but when there starts to be DVD and stuff, all he does is jump guys and fights dirty.

Liut looking like he did when he played for Team Canada against Russia in ‘81 final. Gave up 8 goals and was pathetic. Canada was stacked with a far better team than Russia, but Liut was absolutely awful. Oh well, 43 years ago ( how time flies)…..
