@@creme923 Much like in the story, the father was at peace him again in the future, and only threatened to report him after already doing it a lot of times. He wasn’t able to just because he is his son. Since he isn’t your son, it’s easy for anyone else to react aggressively with the son, but his parents.

IF it is is true, I can kinda see the thought process behind that. The dad has no idea how to handle this situation. He doesn’t want to tell his wife because he doesn’t want her to look at her son like he’s a monster or something. (Which she obviously didn’t want to since she denied it ever happening.) It’s hinted that the mom treats that dad like shit anyway so he’s probably not trying to make a big confrontation out of it. Where’s he supposed to go to ask for advice?

Just researching a bit theres tons of posts saying how the story was made up because the dad account was a "teenager" in other posts and he deleted it after it was found. Yet no mention of it and the even more disinformed comments just assumed its absolutely all legit. Really gives light to how easy it is to spread fake stories or misinfo simply because no one will check nothing themselves and the ones spreading it just thought the fake story would get more views than exposing it I guess.

A lot of parents can't take the idea that their children would do something horrible. Especially mothers. Protective instincts just kick in and rational thinking goes out the window. I've read stories where sons commit crimes and the mother takes the blame herself even though she obviously didn't do it.
