House Hunting in Mexico means finding affordable gems like these two homes in downtown Querétaro.
In these house tours, you'll see examples of the high quality of life you can achieve at a fraction of the prices offered in the US.
We're offering two very distinct examples of the types of homes you can get in the colonial and historic downtown of Querétaro.
The first home is very vintage and artistic. A true homage to the history of the city with designer touches and a luxurious feel.
The second home (beginning at 04:55), is a rare opportunity to live right in the heart of downtown with truly modern amenities.
As we mentioned, both of these homes are situated in the Historic Downtown of Querétaro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Downtown Querétaro offers a safe and clean colonial paradise for anyone seeking liveliness and culture in their every day lives. Could you imagine stepping out of your home to the storybook neighborhood that is Downtown Querétaro?
Here are some videos that help depict what you can expect from this area.
- • Video
- • Video (We arrive downtown around minute 6:45)
- • Video
Now let's talk about Monica Wright.
If you are interested in moving to Querétaro (the best place to live in Mexico), you have to contact Monica Wright.
She is a real estate agent that specializes in aiding expats relocating to Querétaro. She truly understands the expectations, particularities, and needs of an expat in Mexico. Why? Because she is an expat herself!
She is really the best. To contact her, you should write her at her email which is: househunting.qro@gmail.com
She actually showed us an amazing luxury home in Querétaro. Here's that video: • Video
Now, we did a disclaimer showing that this video was filmed a few months ago so the prices given are based on the exchange rate of December 2019 (approximately 19.03 MXN=1 USD). Due to the current volatility of the MXN, contact Monica directly for exact prices and more information.
Thank you so much for watching!

I am so glad to see you guys again! :) Both houses are adorable, but I think I prefer the first one because it looks a little bit more quirky and unique.

I am so happy to see the channel is back to life! Good video, I prefer the second place even though I do not normally like apartments. Well it's true that most people would choose to live in downtown Querétaro, but personally I would prefer Jurica. Why not Querétaro Hotel Tours for the channel?

I would go for a house. More privacy. Those prices are super cheap compared to anything fully furnished in Mexico City in a nice area. For what you're looking at there, in Mexico City it would be at least $2000-$3000.

Sometimes! But honestly we're from a small town that we don't miss. We only ever miss certain vegan food lol. We also are very introverted so it's easier for us to be away from some of our friends. It's okay to miss it though! Totally natural. we go back every few months to visit:)

Hi, guys loved your video I actually wish it would have been longer, I am older 38 no kids no partner looking to move down there into a regular one bedroom or studio thats descent but I don't really understand the process of getting my passport to be able to move there, can I just wing it? Or do I have to wait and get a passport also what else would I need to be able to move down there legally and do you know if there are any places near the beach at that price point I know thats a far reach but thought I'd ask , stay awsome and thanks for all your videos -----Rick.

You can be in Mexico for 180 days at a time without a visa. As far as places near the beach, I'm sorry. We're over 6 hours from the closest beach here in Querétaro. I would advise looking at monthly prices on Airbnb to get a good idea of what prices might be like in the towns you're interested in. Thanks for watching! We have more videos to come so if yo liked this, look out for more:)

Nice tour, but I have to wonder about how reliable the things like washer, dryer, a/c, water heater, etc. will be. And especially, how responsive the landlord would be if anything goes wrong. Were you all able to check on such matters? Thanks!

So an outdoor sink is referred to as a washing "machine"?
@chacmool2581
@chacmool2581 3 жыл бұрын
No, it was said in jest. The so-called "washing machine" is a called a "pila" and is a historical detail. In the old days, women did the laundry in a "pila" like that.
