A bit rough and definitely probably close to the end of its life, but I think for all the issues and wear it's had even just since I've owned it, it's a pretty damn tough, reliable and well-built machine to say the least and still handles the throttle wide open to 115 MPH occasionally when I'm feeling a little wild.

The seller has a Charger hellcat and upgraded this transmission to a better one?? idk. but i swapped my old for this one over a year ago and so far only noticable "issue" is when i first drive it when engine hasn't warmed up yet . the 1st gear kinda high revs to second gear only once then silky shifts from then on. ideas?

Interesting part about that to me is that the version of the ZF8 in a stock Hellcat ought to be considerably tougher than the one in your 300, whether Motown Edition means V-6 or Hemi. So I would _think_ it's a nice upgrade, not just a replacement so you can drive your car again. If your car's a V-6, it's _definitely_ an upgrade - the version of the 8HP used for V-6s is US made, the V-8s got German (or Austrian?) made ones and have a better reliability reputation

@@heythere6983 Vibration or shaking only occurring at idle and more prominent in Drive vs. Park is most often a motor mount starting to fail.
