If a man asks me what I bring to the table, I really want to tell him I bring nothing to the table because I feel like he’s the kind of guy that want to use me for what I have in the material world. I just want to get rid of him by saying I bring nothing to the table to make him go away.

You can avoid the question without devaluing yourself. Instead of saying “nothing”, you can say something like “I guess you’ll have to wait and see” and then never see him again if you don’t want to

If someone dared to ask me that I would respond by asking him, what do you want a woman to bring to the table? If it sounds ridiculous, it’s interesting to know he would have the courage to look like a fool and say it out loud. If it doesn’t sound ridiculous, then just keep stringing him along by changing the subject. Either way my response would be vague and not an actual response. Not everything deserves a response

SheraSeven is a KZfaqr who has a book literally called "I Bring Nothing to The Table". She's married to a provider and teaches women not to tolerate men who don't provide. She even did a collaboration video with Mina. Shera has a darker feminine energy than Mina, so you will see the contrast.

A man who asks that should be deselected from your rotation. Don’t even date men like that. If they don’t know the value of a woman it means they have some negative beliefs about women that they need to do inner work for. It’s not your job to help a random man do his inner work. Just honor his right to have his beliefs as a free human being and . Keep your rotation going and vet for men who already know the value of women and WANT to provide.

@Natasha Dickson I love Shera and have been following her for 4 years. But I think that answer of bringing nothing to the table isn't so much of a dark feminine answer but a less evolved one. You can't say you bring nothing while also empowered in your femininity. Because it is something. A healthy man wouldn't ask that question anyway, so he is less evolved. Men are evolving too and aren't out there looking for "nothing" women.

You see the Sun, but feel the Moon. If the sun is out, it’s tangible and you can see it clearly. But moon (feminine energy) is felt. You can’t see the new moon but it exists and is felt. Depending on the moon phase, you may not always see it in tangible form, but everyone feels it (whether they know it or not).

This message came right on time. Thank you Mina! My boyfriend (I know most of you dont agree with BF GF relationships here) has some intense things going on personally with family and I have been internalizing it and taking his slight irritability personally, as opposed to being there emotionally for him. We have been pretty competitive over the past 2 weeks, but yesterday something just switched with us... we never argued, bickered or had bad vibes. I kept relaxed.. I was in a good mood, brought light fun energy, I didnt rebut any of his opinions, even when he tried to, and really just listened to him without being too judgemental about certain things and we really had a good time for the 1st time in 2 weeks lol Your advise is gold Mina

Try not to remain in the GF stage for too long. Mina gives a very good message on not remaining a GF for too long because it encourages pair bonding and that should only be done with your spouse who if he truly enjoys your energy should propose and marry you in 6 months to a year.

This " I Bring nothing to the table" means you have to offer me something if you want my time and attention. It means YOU have to bring something to the table -not me and only feminine and insecure men who want women to prove themselves and be in their masculine energy could ask such question. But I think men interpret that wrongly all the time and probably people in general.
@petrabozic79

And if those women slept with that man they have the right to ask him for money, because investment represent trust. It shows he values you, but I don't know their situation. But there are hard times right now so if a woman needs money why should she pretend like she doesn't need it so that guy should believe her? How much time she needs to pretend? Myb she is tired from working and want provider man.

What does a feminine woman bring to the table?? Well, we create families, and bonds. We nurture them. We also earn money (those who work or are professionals) and put food on the table (in women history our female ancestors were those who knew how to grow crops, and do harvest. Nowdays all my friends have a garden, they bring food to the table... food that they have cultivated) I disagree with that idea that women bring "intangible" things to a relantionship. We get pregnant we create life we nurture (breast feed, prepare meals, bring emotionally support etc) we educate the next generations and we protect them and we cure them (those who are nurses or teachears and mothers will understand). For me this is not "intangible"

Its possible to have both. I have met women in the workforce with great careers that are very feminine. Tjhey also have husbands and children. Self care is important. Mental wellness is key. Setting healthy boundaries with peers. Never getting knocked off your square and staying even tempered. Handling difficult situations with class and grace. The women I admire make their role seem easy and effortless. I know that it isn't though. They are also very proactive and solution oriented and not reactive and trying to clean up messes that they could have avoided. Hair always coifed, nails neat, classy clothes, classy but comfortable shoes. warm welcomes to all. You may need none of this unsolicited advice, but it is possible to have it all. Also, if it can be afforded, get a weekly or monthly house keeper, meal prep and or use a service like Hello Fresh to help with home. Take care, go for your dreams, and may your resting face be that of a smile. ❤

Yes .I feel like we can never really relax into our femininity when we have to be on high alert , acting as our own protector and provider. I don’t mean working women or single women aren’t feminine . It’s a type of “ toughness” whether it’s expressed as aggression, coldness or in more subtle ways that we adopt over time living a life of high alert When you have had this need to protect yourself emotionally or physically since childhood or for a long period of adulthood it becomes a defining trait. How can we fake it till we make it in a predatory world?

Coming from a South Asian culture, it is clear what women bring and it is definitely passed down from our mothers and women in our lives. Big examples are serving the family (cooking and serving food), being the primary carer for children, sexual availability for the husband. Although I agree a woman’s feminine presence matters for how it makes a man feel but it definitely is also tangible things like I have mentioned above which are what women bring to a marriage.

The tangible things you mentioned are often outsourced to maids, Nannies, cooks in my family and yet the feminine is valued. Those are “tasks” not feminine things.

@@Theuniverseguru Although I myself have grown up with nannies and helping hands and yes it is a part of many south asian families. I have also seen the women submitting to their male figures and husbands by serving them. The men definitely value women who show wife skills. I truly can’t discredit the tangible aspects of these feminine attributes of catering to masculine lead in the family.

@Anika Abida I kind of think that if woman has help(to do chores) which is often when the woman needs it(so it's not like she is free ) but let's say the rich family with all the help, I think the natural state of the woman would be loving, appreciative and nurturing for her family. All cultures have their pros and cons, but in ours , the kids always remember their mom's food, inlaws always cherish the more hard working bahu and the man loves to do anything when he wants her 😊 so yeah , disrespect is not tolerated. You need to be happy(feminine), nurturing and appreciative assuming all your needs are met and tangible stuff does help! I have heard provider men say - I want my future woman to do Something, not for me but for herself so that she feels fulfilled!

Outsourced to oppressed caste nanies, cooks etc who are usually also women. This work would be pushed onto the women related or married to them if not for an underclass of women doing this underpaid labour

This leaves the upper caste women feeling "chosen" by these men when it's hypergamy to keep caste/class in place. We aren't free till we are all free.

I moved in with my bf abt 2 yrs ago(i know Mina wouldnt advise to do this but its my current situation) at first my bf and I were going 50/50 but I told my bf about 6 months in I wanted him to pay more since I do more around the house and he was upset about it at first but thenhe agreed. Now we are doing about 70/30 but I feel like hes only doing it cause I asked him to not cause he wants to. Would you keep a guy like that? I feel like he wants to be a provider man but hes young and hasnt established himself yet. We are both 24

This is interesting because I’m 24 and I plan on moving in with my boyfriend next year who’s 29. We agreed on him paying 75% of the rent and me paying 25% since the beginning and I didn’t have to convince him about it. I told one of my friends this who grew up with out knowing her dad and had a boyfriend who was practically jobless and addicted to drugs and she immediately laughed like “oh so that’s so shocking, you’re so lucky though” but I know she just has never been in touch with her femininity.. my bf will be willing to pay for the entire rent once he gets further along in his business. I’ve heard that men that are a few years older are more on the same level mentally as women a few years younger. I dated a guy the same age as me for 2 years and I see a huge difference. My current bf is definitely the provider type, holds my door open and asks me if I’m ok all the time, just doing little things for me being me aware of my well being.

What about older women? In their 40's and 50's? Many men say that at this age women shall be established already and if she is not, she should go 50/50 with a man. For example to buy appartment and pay the half or pay for her travel expanses (flights)
