Noise is the first song on the Nightwish album Human Nature.
And in this video you can enjoy my Nightwish Noise Reaction.
Official music video for "Noise", taken from the 2020 NIGHTWISH album, Human. :||: Nature.
"Noise is a reminder. It's some food for thought. I see it more as an optimistic video than pessimistic. Especially the last 10 seconds of the video, when you see the beautiful forest and the landscape, it should fill you with hope the real world is still out there.
This video is not a criticism about technology or cell phones. Me, all the bandmembers, we love technology. We wouldn't ever have done this record without technology. We love our cell phones, the Internet and all that, but it's a criticism for the addiction that these things cause in human beings. 'Addiction' is the word.
It's such a shame that we have all these wonderful tools that we can for the good, to spread true information and to be connected to the world. I love the idea of social media, I like Twitter, that everybody in the world suddenly has a voice; we have a voice. We can immediately get out there. It's just a matter of what you put out there. And that's what the video is all about."

Thank you for continuing this wild ride, new subscriber here of course. This song really has a dark theme, talking about the toxic extremes of social media, which tend to turn us into a "tool of a tool". As Tuomas said, it is not so much a criticism of technology, but more of a criticism of the inappropriate way in which we use it. "Food for thought". This album addresses the vast theme of the human, in relation to the nature of which we are a part. "Technological noise" is only one of these aspects. My favorite song from this album is "Pan", dedicated to imagination :) Greetings from Romania!

This is a Black Mirror season in one musical masterpiece. Much about fake personas on-line, the real lives behind the cameras and the negative impact on society. Ignore the noise and get out amoung nature and build real relationships. In my head... Floor is acting the model mother while forcing her child to model on-line. Playing a role, but keeps the child in a cage, ignores her tears and will not let her play. Toumas the "tree hugger" with all the causes, bathes in oil and vast energy consumption. Marco, the health pill pusher, has a vast inventory to crap to sell and no healthy habits. Like Troy claiming to be a king and searching for likes and praise, is filming from his toilet. And Empuu, dares to watch something else (or is flagged for not reading the right things) is then beaten up by a mob that films it for their own social credit scores.

It's impossible to choose one favorite song from Human Nature. But there is one - an acoustic version of 'How is the Heart', that are outstanding. They (Floor and Troy) did it the first time during a promotion tour back in the spring 2020 in Planet Rock Radio. And since then in about every second show. Human Nature is such a great album. All I picture, listening to this album, is Tuomas sitting in his attic writing, cackling, and exclaiming, "I have assembled a team of supermusicians! Let's see what I can make them do!" And then they do it. Every time they do it. This is one of the most technically incredible albums and shows off that every member of this band is a master of their craft.

The video is shot against a green screen. If they need multiple shots they shoot one after the other then combine them on the timeline, then add the background. It's actually not very difficult to do. however, the planning and execution of the shoot is at a different level.

Concur, you'll notice a lot more of symbolisms like Mona Lisa if you watch it instead of headbanging It's not against technology, but how it's used with for example social media by many people today Great reaction anyway Greetings from Sweden

Nightwish life 'sounds' better. My favorite Human Nature song is Shoemaker best vid at the moment is the remasterd one from Deichbrand 2022. Best all time song: '7 days to the wolves' from Wembley 2015.

This isn't the first track on the album. The first is "Music" which has a lyric video as do every track on this album.

It was, however, the first song released from the album, so not entirely wrong. ;) “Music” is, however, my favorite song on the album and one of the best opening tracks period.
