Now this is my favorite kind of girl chat. Longer than 5 minutes and in two sections. Anyway, Adrienne got R-E-A-L! Then Jeannie went in and got R-E-A-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L. Brought tears to my eyes.

I'm getting emotional over here. I understand where Jeannie is coming from because i used to think that i was ugly as well. Still do sometimes but my self-esteem is not as low as it was when i was a teen. What i would tell my younger self is to love yourself inside and out. & never let anyone walk over you. Fear no one!

I cried at what Jeannie said because that's absolutely how it was for me. You don't understand yourself, so you beat yourself for every flaw. But becoming vulnerable allows you to accept criticism, trials, and flaws the way they come. It allows you to love yourself and life more.

I used to be so anxious and I worry about what people think of me, I kind of still do it now but much less than before. If anyone worries about what people think about them, trust me! You spend way more time thinking about what they think about you than the reality. They do NOT think about you as much as you think they do. Once you stop caring so much about that and be full of yourself, you REALLY are going to be happy. Stop pleasing people, please yourself first and be happy.

Whoo, this was an emotional segment. I would say to myself: even when you think you have it all figured out, you still won't. You'll make a lot of mistakes: forgive yourself. You'll have experiences that rock you to the core, don't let it make you bitter or cynical. You've done bad things but you're still a good person. Forgive yourself. Stop destroying what is left of your heart thinking about things that have broken you. You'll be ok, you'll be ok, you'll be ok...

Wow Jeanie, thank you so much for sharing that! The essence of your story was truly enlightening..When you began to conclude your story with ''I thought I was ugly, because I didn't understand myself'' was when I started to tear up, because I can relate to this all too well.I'm understanding more through experience that being disconnected to your true self, to your vulnerabilities and everything that makes you human can hurt you, and can hurt the people you love most. The real you is never ugly! and Jeanie you have a beautiful, bright light that permeates!.... also sometimes you preach so hard it sends me in my feels, spiraling into oblivion :D thought I came prepurd this time, ehuhu.
