If i have a child who only went to one yr of prek is it possible to deschool without knowing it lol we have told him we will be schooling from home at first he was upset asking about riding the bus going to a new school building etc but now hasnt been mentioning those at all.we have been working on small lessons with breaks allowing game play and screen time as he is a visual hands on learner. He has sensory processing disorder so we have to do transitions to help ease him into them. We are slowly turning our dining room into an area for us.

Sure! The younger grades are easier to transition to a different lifestyle. Sounds like you’ve already got a good thing going. Deschooling is really just about doing what feels natural and easing in to school and that’s what you’re doing. Great job momma!
