Void spark is a A tier pve gem, it also gives attack speed buff. Pair it with viper/bile/torment, just run pass and things melt. Also can be active for more than 6 secs.

Vipers bite and pain clasp were made for each other.

Mocking laughter is AMAZING when paired with chip of stone. At LV10 it will freeze any monsters for 6 seconds with every primary attack hit.

Sry to say but Gloom Cask is for Sure S-Tier...Mow of the Deep is surely like A Tier...and since we have Vipers Bite...Bile is like B-Tier or less. Rest is okay for me.

concentrated will is actually a very good gem for demon hunters in PVP with the new builds. Also if you re a demon hunter, the echoing shade is just useless. In pve deals very low damage comparing to the primary attacks of the main char and in pvp they just melt in 1 second.

Nightmare Wreath and Mocking Laughter cause total loss of control, when paired with Chip Stone, they become very powerful. Not for everyone but can be good depending on your character. Also, Black Rose is great for PvP. Other than that, fair assessment. 👍

20second cd gem is not that long especially if u have vithus urge 30percent, beneficial effect. in fact, mothers lament is 20second cd. but with vithus duration is 8s from 6s of effects. A lot of gem works with, vithus urge beneficial effects. thus i found most gem is 8secs, so cd is actually “12second instead, irl.”

Everyone discount haunt but forgets it does massive dmg everytime you kill a summon or a summon off shade or a clone. I get a haunt kill or 2 a game from that

i just got a sleeping bile, iam running a surfing build with my tempest. I use rolling surf , vortex , stormfury and cross winds. Should i sell it or use it? i also have a starfire shard and chip of stoned flesh.

Hellfire definitely cant be on the same rank as maw and void spark. And you didnt read the rank 3 attribute of concentrated will. After the angel returns it increases you damage and move speed by 4% at rank 3 and they increase by another 4% every level. Meaning at lvl10 the increase is at 20% for damage and move speed after using a dash skill.

What I like about Power and Command is that it has a burst damage on either primary or other skills. I think of it as a miniature version of Convention of Elements ring in Diablo 3. That ring is used by a lot of classes and builds. What it does is cycle through the damage types that each class has. To get the most out of its 200% (max) damage you only damage enemies during your chosen element. In Diablo 3 legendary gems not only have a power like Immortal they also have other abilities that unlock at rank 25. Seled's Weakening I look at as a little brother of Bane of the Powerful. That gem increases your damage by 20%, 2$ higher than Seled's after killing an elite enemy. Its rank 25 ability increases the damage you deal to elite enemies and reduces their damage by 15%. The Huge difference between Powerful and Weakening is that as you rank it up you increase the time that it last. It starts out at 30 seconds but can easily go up to 2 minutes+ if you rank it up. It is used in speed builds because everything dies real fast, which doesn't give its brother Bane of the Trapped time to kill enemies.

as well frozen heart is consider high reso gem. unless high reso, frozen heart give little shield. so C tier. but high reso is S tier. i would say as well. Voidspark S tier.

ZOD STONe DOES NOT increases duration of skills - JUST damage. I dont know if this is a bug, but no ones knows it.

I use the HellFire on my Sader it’s a 4 star at rank 6. On the test dummy it does 220,000 damage on initiation and is ready to go again in 20 seconds. If by your standards that’s not much damage what do you consider a suitable damage amount from a gem.

Wow this is objectively wrong in so many ways. Putting Frozen Heart, Gloom Cask, Echoing Shade, and Spiteful Blood over Void Spark and Maw (with Zwenson's and Howler's on par) is insanity. Void, Maw, and Starfire are easily S-tier gems. Dude is spewing nonsense, switched off not even 10min in.

For those always saying seeping is so low chance to proc you don’t actually understand the gem. In challenge rifts seeping is unmatched. Mine procs steady and the spread effect is unmatched in massive crowds. Any attack even tick dmg will trigger seeping

20% crit means 20% dmg, and standig behind helps always to avoid damage from relic bosses, so cutthoats grin is in my opinion S Tier Crit --> most underrated in the whole game, there is no, i mean NO better stat.

hi echo appreciate ur effort. maybe u could retitle to best PVE gem tier list than in the game? since gem has PVP, farming etc tier. not all the gem the same. if u separate it u have more useful utility info and contact as well. 3 video. instead of one. pvp, pve and special effects tier list or class specific tier list. for example spiteful is S tier in PVP and D tier in PVE. echo shade is S tier in PVE for necro. bsj if actually low tier in pvp since nerf 6h percent 24percent max rank 10 is nerf to 8 percent. chip of stone is actually S tier in PVP since it has stone effect so does maw of the deep. kirsling , black rose and battle guard is S tier in PVP especially f2p player. even whales uses exigencies echo rank10. and kirsling. and mother lament is D tier n pvp because is heavily nerf max 10rank 24 percent to 8percent. 66percent nerf all gems. unrefined passage and respite stone is S tier battleground f2p as well. that way, target audience is more targeted and more separated content and specific utility/special info.

This list is not well categorised mainly because many gems excel well in particular situations and classes that were not explained or explored properly but l like this guy nonetheless
