I don't know what happened at Golden State, but its a shame Mark Jackson is being black balled! Freakin unproven Steve Nash got a job that Mark Jackson should've been hired instead! And how many other coaching position that he's been passed over on? I think he'd be great with the Lakers! I'm glad Steph always gives him his props for getting that Warrior machine started! Great Basketball Mind! "Mama, give that man another shot!"

IMO, too much trust in Pelinka. He didn't resign the bubble team. The last two years he didn't pick up D Howard, who would have made the team Jokic competitive. He has made good trades to be good, but not the risk taker necessary to win championships. Remember, Magic set the table with the trade risks that set up the bubble chip. LeBron, AD, etc.

Most people seem to forget that part - without Magic, we don't get LeBron to begin with, and come to think of it, that's probably why Pelinka blew up the 2020 roster, because it had the stink of Magic all over it, and he wanted to prove he could put together just as great a roster on his own. Ummm, whoops...

I can't with Jeanie and Rob anymore. I thought her moving Jim out and Magic in was a brilliant move, but then she squandered all the positive momentum by giving Pelinka carte blanche and then backing him against Magic. The 2020 chip aside, it's basically been Jim Buss 2.0 ever since, and I don't see it getting any better any time soon as long as these 2 keep running the show.

The Buss families business is the Lakers. Most teams now are toys for billionaires that made their money somewhere else and don’t depend on the team to make money for them. Lakers just lost their tenants in the Clippers that will definitely be felt in the bottom line. There other cash cow is a free agent and could potentially take his talents elsewhere. They messed up from day 1 not wanting to pay Ty Lue, this could have all been avoided from the beginning but they didn’t want to let Lue pick his own staff and it was only for 6 million a year for three years.

Explains why they've had some of the coaches they've had over the last decade. When the field was normal, they were able to hide the Financials because coaches weren't pulling g this much a year. Now, teams are taking advantage of the money bump and the lakers can't keep up
