Can i ask something. My balancing machine counts in grams 5s 10s 15s but my clip-on weights are in ounces with equivalents amounts in grams that are 7s 14s 28s. Do you have any tips how to manage this and make it balance??

always thought those were also sacrificial metal so the wheel didn't rust as fast

I find those on the streets all the time, does the glue suck for a reason? So you gotta go back and get your wheels balanced?

Could be a bubble in the tread, mud stuck in odd places, a tyre with a manufacturing default. There's quite a few different reasons, really.

Looking for where to look for these weights. Need to know a source of lead for casting black powder bullets. A lot of friends go to junk yards

Do these weights have to stay on forever? Only reason I ask is because my wheels don’t have a lip for them to I guess hide behind and they are just so ugly on a new rim..

Yes! If you've got fancy looking rims, they'll probably use the stick on ones that go inside the barrel, so hopefully they're not too obvious.

@@TyreReviewVideos unfortunately they are on black rims and the adhesive they used is white so it’s super noticeable so I’ll probably color it with a sharpie but thanks for the info!

I found a whole bunch of these sticky weights on my Jeep tire after paying for 4 new tires and alignment. It's an eyesore. I'm selling this Jeep so wondering why the weights are on there?

I honestly never knew they actually stuck weights onto the wheels It just doesn't make sense to me Ive never seen a car with weights on the wheels before I'm trying to imagine this on some insanely expensive supercar. Surely it world lower the value on the car if it has weird pieces of metal stuck on the beatiful expensive wheels

Question do all 4 tires need to have weights ?

Yep! It's a per-tyre thing, so if it's slightly out of round, then an individual tyre will need weights. Occasionally, they don't need weights, but that's pretty rare.
