Weird thing is that fruits are technically the developed ovaries of a plant. So avocado is basically an ovary called 'testicle'.

That’s really cool... and also slightly gross lol. The language nerd in me can’t help but notice that you mispronounced ahaucatl though :). It’s pronounced “a-wá-katl” (silent h like in Spanish, and stress on the second syllable). Also the “tl” in Classical Nahautl and some of the modern dialects is a single consonant that doesn’t exist in Spanish or English. It’s hard to describe if your language doesn’t have it, but it’s kind of like saying a “t” immediately followed by a hissing sound while keeping the tip of your tongue against the roof of your mouth behind your teeth

In Brazil our avocados are larger and less tasty than yours. That's why we eat them as dessert.
