Thanks for the breakdown! I have a new army build I'm working towards with the theme around the Battle of Fornost where the Witch King's army was defeated. Feel free to pick apart or build differently. To be themeatically accurate to the lore, I'd like to stick to characters/armies that could have fought there. Armies mentioned in this battle were Arnor (Arvedui was dead by now), some Gondor Cavalry (Led by Prince Earnur), High Elves (Glorfindel and Cirdan were mentioned). Don't need to have all armies/heroes in there. Aim to keep Glorfindel in the list. I built for 800 but could even consider scaling down to lower points to take to more tournaments. Thanks a bunch! At the WTC, my team had the best individual player, he was also playing Assault Upon Helms Deep - he won all 6 of of his games, including ones against Pall of Darkness.

It was really interesting getting insights from a fresh competitive perspective! I'd really hope that you could get Alistair King back on the podcast, I think the old dwarf episode you did with him was immensly interesting, and I'd like to know what he thinks about the "new" erebor reclaimed with Old Dain and Thorin Stonehelm. I think you guys didn't even realise when looking at the ETC lists that the reason Dain wasn't on boar was that it was the New-Old Dain, rather than the Iron hills one.

Devon was spot on I was limited by the models I own 😅. Thank you all for looking at my list I appreciate your insight guys, I think the main take away for me was to try and be more focused with the list.....and take horses ofcourses xD.

About ballista's piercing shot and S6 cavalry: would it mean the ballista does not follow the general rule that says "Note that if a Cavalry model is struck, the mount, rider and any passengers are all hit and knocked Prone - you must roll To Wound for each of them."?
