The common perception of poverty as the lack of material wealth often results in a hurtful approach to collaboration. Every person, regardless of their socioeconomic status, is created in the image of God and, therefore, has unique gifts and talents. Collaboration should focus on identifying these gifts and talents in a community and working together to bring it to full flourishing.
