Cool video. I remember driving up Cielo late at night in my friend’s tour van…I knew from the pictures in the HS book what the gate looked like (this was in 1988) when we came upon the gate, I became frozen in fear, and almost had an unplanned bowel movement. Even tho I was with 7 other dudes, I was still scared AF!

the 59 ford they were driving didn't have a switch in the floor to operate the starter , but some older cars did . that's why he said "stepped on the starter" . i figured many folks didn't know .

@horror_2s a couple things I’d like to add, on the 59 Ford the ignition switch is to the right of the steering wheel on dash , totally accessible to Weber if he threatens to take key through an open window or door..Another interesting thing about Weber, when interviewed police asked if he’d written license plate down, he said he’d not and police were crestfallen, BUT he remembered the plate exactly correct. He worked at Riviera Country club and had to memorize things as part of his job and just naturally had an excellent memory . Mind you this was some MONTHS later, it made an impression on him and he had that kind of memory…I find that amazing. Oh the third thing was I am a hillside resident …sounds do not travel in a lineral way, I can hear conversations and music or other things way down the canyon and not here things next door or across the street..I think has to do w wind patterns and man made and. Natural obstructions that kill sound waves or distort/ redirect them, this I say w 1000% certainty… Lastly I was a visitor to Cielo drive in the early 90s when my friend called me at midnight and said “you’ll never guess where in house sitting for the next month…familiar w Cielo Dr?” I immediately went over , it had no spooky or weird vibes ..it was very tranquil I visited that time in dead of night , around the killing time of 12-1, but also in daylight hours it was very super chill … One of the most dramatic dead in views of the skyline and twinkly lights of the flatlands.. I definitely believe that Garretson could not have heard especially as he said he was playing records and writing letters..side of house blocked any yelling or shots fired in home or screams in front lawn , sort of wraps around and is many hundred of feet from entry gate and next neighbor..also it is on a promotory slightly higher than immediate neighbors.. Final thought in “Krenwinckel: Life After Manson” I believe Katie reports being told by Tex to go check rest of property and she walked walkway past the pool to the guesthouse and even had her hand on door but just didn’t try it..somewhere in her she claimed to know not to do any more damage..or something to that effect ..so she really didn’t try door but just told Tex no one else on property .. nice work appreciate your production

Yes---I too believed Susan the first time. With EVERYONE she talked to about the slaughter, she told them that she alone stabbed Sharon Tate to death. She described it with such detail--especially Sharon Tate's words and reactions, and with such intensity---in words that only the actual killer would say.

Where did she talk about murdering Sharon? I wanna read her testimony

@@malenafalicoff7532 Her confession to murdering Sharon Tate, made to Virginia Graham and Ronnie Howard broke the case. She testified to every detail of stabbing Sharon to death to the Grand Jury. Her words are in the L.A. court transcripts as well as in every book on the subject. Start by reading "Helter Skelter" by Vincent Bugliosi. Atkins also is on video describing how she told Sharon she had no mercy for her or her baby while she stabbed her. It is easy to find.

I believe Susan killed Sharon by herself too, but I recall Tex saying that he did it, not Susan. I'm wondering why he said that. Btw I love your "friends" in the background.

After years in jail Atkins figured the only way she may get parole was to say she didn’t actually place the knife in to Sharon . Pat had stabbed Abigail so it makes sense Watson told her to kill Sharon . Watson may have finished her off or Susan hid her knife in cushion so she could feignnot having a weapon . The knife found had no prints or blood on it . Susan was cunning enough to wipe it for prints before saying she lost her knife . Watson claimed responsibility to help Atkins get parole - he had smitten killing frykowsi, parent . Leno , Rosemary , so adding Sharon wasn’t going to add to his years or shorten his jail time . Sharon was stabbed in back by a left handed person the coroner noted and Susan was the only left handed killer that night . Can’t believe a word Atkins says

Where? Her confession to killing Sharon that she made to Virginia Graham and Ronnie Howard broke the case. She detailed every second of it to the Grand Jury. Her words are in court transcripts and are repeated in every book on the case. Start by reading "Helter Skelter" by Vincent Bugliosi.

With regard to whether Atkins participated in the actual stabbing, I recall reading somewhere (I believe it was in Bugliosi's book) that Manson instructed Tex to make sure that "everyone got their hands dirty" (presumably so that they couldn't deny their own culpability after the fact), and given that, it seems hard to imagine that she * didn't * take part in the stabbing.

I too believe that she helped with the stabbing of Sharon, she had some left handed stab wounds on her back, and Susan was left handed, as well she had stab wounds on her front too probably done by Tex Watson, so no I don’t believe anything that witch says. Love your show❤

@@horror_2s WOW!!! I figured I was fairly close, but not that darn close... I was able to visit LA for the first time back in June my husband & I were right there on Santa Monica. We visited Hollywood forever cemetery Griffith observatory and the Chinese theater. I think we were on Santa Monica when we were at the graveyard. Too bad we only had 2 days I sooooo hope to see Ca again 1 day & get more than 2 days. I won an all expense paid trip for 2 days to attend the US Open, but we went to the places mentioned above instead of sitting at a golf course from 6 am to 6pm (US grand open at the LA country club) Our hotel was on Figueroa WOW never seen anything like it. Sending ♥️ From Johnson City TN (about an hour away from Gatlinburg area) love your channel
