If you looking for things to do in Sochi, check this place out. I love this market, the food, the smell of smoked meat, the fresh fruit, preserved vegetables and spices. A foodie paradise, this is my happy place.

I enjoy it when someone shares their home country. The market was beautiful. I grew up in the American South and I love smoked meats. The cheeses looked beautiful.

MsIzbalovannaya, It is now a Food paradise when Putin came. And in the 90s we were starving and many Russians went to live abroad to survive. Now many are returning, because now we have paradise. Almost!))

Yes, I went first thing when they were just opening up, and it was midweek too. It was such a great experience.

Glad you enjoyed it! Russia has regular supermarkets and hypermarkets too, but I think the old style Soviet markets are pretty special! 👍🏻 I'm drooling just remembering the foods! 😊

Btw my entire extended family is now addicted to your borscht recipe, it’s so delicious! I’ve had to send your video around so that other people can make it at home as well :)

Definitely more interesting! and fresher too! Can't wait to go back, this was filmed in Sochi, but again, its different in Moscow. I filmed a Shopping in Moscow YT clip, and was accused of propaganda because it was too nice 😂 Thank you for sharing, so glad to hear you guys love it! 👍🏻

the closest I can think of is the Queen Vic Markets in Melbourne, this was incredibly fun to walk through, I wanted to buy everything!
